If a process exists then it can be tampered with, or exited/entered. Leaving that loop is the entire purpose of reincarnating so much. Either get sundered till your essence is corroded beyond reuse or you find a way to leave the loop itself. As the process of going through multiple reincarnations could in itself be considered hell by those experiencing it should their memories carry over.

Enlightenment is for better or worse just one way of doing so. Not dying is another. Your essence being erased from existence is one more but that houses it's own issues.

i'm actually starting to think that all those weird things they made so far in S2 were all just to stretch the episodes, now all of a sudden they're using all of the material lol.

if they would've used it in the beginning as they should've this part of the story would be already resolved.

That's very true. A lot of the episodes were wasted on frivolous in-between stuff that had no Bering on the story.
