This is glorious. This is fucking glorious.
Atelier Ryza the anime served its purpose well – that is to promote the game. The creators also understand what their target audience likes – Ryza’s heavenly, succulent, and plump thighs (and Lila’s humongous plot). Though in my opinion there was a bit excessive amount of Ryza’s hams, even though I really love them.
The anime itself was not bad – it followed our kiddos and their adventures. I think the animated version made Ryza even more likeable than she was in the game. I adored her in the anime. She is such an adorable ball of energy, and the anime captured her character so well – she may have become one of my favorite anime girls. The other characters were also really nice.
Plotwise this is a nice relaxing adventure focused story that gets more serious as it progresses. Though I must say that the pacing of the anime was not the best. My biggest complaint is that it wasted too much time on side quests. I wanted to see progress in the main story, and I expected the anime to cover the whole first game.
Overall, I enjoyed the anime, but I enjoyed playing the game much more (and I really recommend it). I’m currently playing the 2nd game and I just love it. In the end, I think I can give Ryza – 7/10.
ahh.. 2nd game... where tao is now a dual blade assassin 😂
5/10, I dunno what i watched, but thiccness was awesome in this 1.
Likely doesn't help that the show is stopping here. We're possibly mot even halfway through the story if I consider that there's still the journey to the tower, finding out the secrets within it, learning about the Philusca's origin, not to mention the place Lila is from. There's so much that hasn't been done in this anime and apparently we're not getting a second cour so this is going to be yet another bad adaptation of a game, this time around being bad because it doesn't finish anything. Leaving so many mysteries unexplained isn't going to make people who haven't played the game rate the series highly while those who have played it are going to be disappointed at stopping halfway when there is so much left to cover.
People are probably more likely to play the game than to read a light novel or manga so... luckily for me I happen to like games, when the bundle goes on sale for the Ryza games I'll be getting them.
yes, this is typical for most game adaptions, you dont have same experience .(
yeahh.. you cant really appreciate this anime without playing the game. it didnt help that the anime made the phasing so slow.
i understand , yeah likely i would judge it better if i played it.

Yep, yep. This one so much. That's Raiza's biggest charming point, that she is so adorably energetic you want to cheer for her so much.
I’d watch an S2 if Lila were in it. :p
I second this lol
Count me in lol
Need more Lila
This didn't adapt the whole game so she'd definitely be in another season.
Same here :P
I need more balloon tit lila
Noooo last episode to enjoy thiccness T^T
Gonna miss those blessed close ups on Ryza’s thighs lol
someone should create a compilation of all close up thigh shots in this anime
I have ryza figure for sale so you can see her thighs are eternal
Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout The Animation
I won't say I'm a fan of Atelier games. I only play a handful of them but Ryza wasn't one of them (still in my backlog, though).
But even if you have never played the Atelier game before, you should have at least heard about this thicc anime girl from somewhere because her thighs transcend any medium.
And that seems to be the case in this anime as well.
But it doesn't seem to be translated well into anime. Sure the visual is stunning, and the characters are interesting. And I find Ryza's character was very well thought out. You can find anything from her regardless of your preferences.
But that's all of it. Watching Ryza and her gang quest fetching week-in-week-out is not as interesting as when I played the game myself. The anime offers little to no story to explore and I'm not sure whether this is actually all of it. If you remove all the fanservice, there are not many things the anime actually delivers.
It's still an entertaining show regardless if you never expected anything much from it. 7/10. Time to clear my backlog.
yeah the anime is more of an introduction (actually an advertisement for the games) which is surprising since nier automata covers the first half of the game even if you compared it to other anime video games like the world ends with you which covers the whole story (too bad the anime sucks since the game is the best shinigami related story)and legend of mana which covers 1 of the 3 major story arcsnow im worried how ff9 would turn out in the anime since its my favorite video game of all timein the end i enjoy the anime as well specially if you watch it as a sol anime xd
If you like Detectives and Shinigami and own a switch. I hear Master Detective Archives: Rain Code has some thiccness. (I have the game and well Shinigami is so lewd. (for death XD) no seriously she is quite something.) Made by creators of Danganronpa, Spike Chunsoft. And the game is seriously good. Definitely something worth playing.
im a huge junko enoshima fan xdi only own a ps4/5 right nowi just hope detective rain will also be released on psfor the meantime ill wait for decapolice by level5and speaking of shinigami im a huge fan of twewy xd
Unfortunately I don't think Rain Code will come to PS otherwise it would have been on there already. I'm a big fan of Danganronpa myself. They really struck gold with that series.
I am not too good with acronyms so enlighten me what is twewy. edit: NVM I figured it means. The World Ends With You. Never played it, but I know Kindgom Hearts 3 Featured characters from it.
thats too bad since i like the character designsas for dangaronpa i actually watch the 3 anime here loltwewy = the world ends with youi love the concept of the reaper games on that gametheres an anime but it kinda sucks both twewy 1&2 are available on switchi played the first game on phone and the sequel on ps4
There may yet still be a way for you to play it. Use an Emulator. I know Emulators aren't exactly perfect and don't support the devs by playing games for free. but if you are able to emulate the game, because you don't own the console, some people play it and still buy the game to support the devs.
Yeah there is a lot more to the story, I do have to admit I did find this more plain as a whole compared to the game, so hopefully if they do another season, it'd be a lot more interesting than this season.
im more curious abt an adaption of the second game cant get enough of Fi, but they got to finish the first game first, i guess.
Which ones did you play if you played a handful but still do not consider yourself a fan? It just feels a bit weird to me, most players that aren't fans of Atelier usually stop after the first one and only those who are fans play more of them.
Sure, I may be a bit biased with 8 finished and 9th currently playing, but that's how it looks to me :D
At first I thought that the seeds in the cave are kept there in case something really bad happens on the island and they can regrow everything. I heard there is a place holding a lot of samples of plants like this irl too.Seems like there is some big mystery surrounding the island.
Well this was pretty nice. 7/10I'll watch a sequel if it gets one.
You mean the global seed vault in Norway?
Oooh yeah, that!
Isn't there one in Antarctica as well?
Yes, Svalbard Global Seed Vault
I have 2 Thicc Reason Why I finished this anime.Really enjoyable anime
The end of thiccness
