Like most religious zealots, they will justify it with some BS like, "he was chosen by God", or some shit
It's no BS, in a setting where Demons as per Judeo-Christian religious and spiritual texts exist, logically the opponent/s would exist as well. Seeing as the demons aren't explained away as some alien species( more or less like the alternate dimension devils from Black Clover), here it is easy to assume that God would exist as well and act against them.
That being said, I'm not trying to say the commander of the SC organisation is enabled by God, he's clearly a demon contractor, the OP shows it as such even, but within context his armor and behaviour would more easily give him the aura of a Knight Templar or some other type of holy knight, the organisation and character are obviously based on such rl groups.
Fuck them religions :D they need to pay their fuckin taxes!
The nazis didnt for hitler. He wasnt arian, and he was jewish
Lol Naberius and Marbas just can't be honest, they are closer than they would like to admit. Marbas really ran into that fight just to slap Naberius because he was being beaten by a human, that was funny.
The post-credit scene was funny too, Naberius is really going to enjoy being Marbas' master since Marbas will have to play along during the negotiations.
Interesting how it seems the Sword Cross order doesn't think much about the Commander receiving such fatal wounds and being completely okay, there's clearly a demon of some sort involved in that.
He must have forced the bird demon(The demon in flashback and the green haired woman in the credits scene) to form a contract.
The bird demon is Astaroth/Astarte, the one who's supposedly dead. Or so the flashback implied.
He's totally not human
Sooo.... mind spoiling on what he is now?
Like Ban from 7DS, he was human but something happened and he was no more a normal human being
so he's
True but not exactly since
OP much??? I thought he was more like an Father Anderson (Hellsing) type but ok... Still Nice!
That was my first thought too
Reminds me of my favorite Paladin from Hellsing
That guy with the sycthe just didn't learn. His ignorance made Naberius shove him on the ground with the intention to tuck him in bed and give him a good night kiss lmao
The sword cross order's people have a shared IQ of 5, attacking while thinking their stuff will work and not raising an eyebrow to the commander recieving so many fatal blows
There are reasons for this that might or might not be shown in the anime
Extra animations?
Maybe, it's their backstories before joining that association
Are their backstories gradually revealed?
On the manga, yes... some of them were -didn't finished reading it-
And killing innocents and humans.
And so, a Double-Tsundere Bromance was born... 😁🤣
i'm here for the pretend rivalry ^u^ pretty kitty x big bad wolf
That commander is not human.
I think hes either a vampire or some sort of human puppet/golem
Hinami or he could be immortal.
maybe he's just a really really really really tough human.
Maybe Monkey D. Luna.
Masaka. How did you figure that out?
Really enjoy how Naberius and Maria's fight with each other lol.
Marbas got snot in his hands.
Next thing he does take a long stare at it.
and wiped it on Naberius XDDD Marbas never fails to amuse in many ways
Yeah Hinami lol.
Humans are really fragile.
They get sick very fast.
I low key thought the funniest moment was when Wisteria started to blurt out about her brother and Marbas put his hand over her mouth and shakes his head....even though she's blind
7:53 it's wonderful to SEE you again
--wisteria the blind.
meh.. kinda disappointing development....
a more exciting twist would be that the Commander of the Knights offered Blackbell a deal..if she ordered her demon Naberius to kill Barbas, the royal family would restore her family's standing. Now THAT is a devil's deal.. which would Blackbell treasure more- her friendship or the honor of her family? :)
yeah sadly no one died this episode
I'm not sure the Commander has the liberty and right to directly offer restoration. That's why he asked for negotiations. They might bring in a closer representative of the Crown as well.
Or he simply has no intention of offering her anything and the negotiations are just a ruse to get to infiltrate the manor and the demons to lower their guards in order to take both of them down. No matter how they argue, even in the Commander's eyes they're clearly more inclined to go for a truce and temporary partnership against his forces.
Hmmm, that is one helluva overchewed plot. Like, 99% result in this kind of development and it is boring as hell
You're looking at an overchewed plot right now.
Heh, yea ;) Just level of it is far lesser than the villain choice. It is still far from cliche to that
Subjective.
Good episode.
You'd think the sword cross people would be mighty suspicious of the way the commander can heal quicker than Deadpool.
