It's hard to make heads or tails of which group is against which group. So much is going one. At least Nakazawa found a love interest but poor Sumie had to see her fiance with another girl. Origasa seems like all brute no finesse. He's made for bludgeoning not the sword.

The second half was probably the weakest part of the anime so far.
Full auto archer is bit too much and the soldiers couldve easily shoot a volley into the smoke, or later targeting the carriage.

Not like there werent any plot holes before this, quite a bit actually, but mostly small things that were easy to overlook.

I also find the Fox Masked body-gourd's stomach rouse, anatomically inaccurate.

This woman really reminds me of Sagiri from Jigokuraku (Hell's Paradise) in terms of behavior and swordsmanship.

The fact that Kyoshiro lost was simply because of the poison in his body! If not for that, he would have won that entire tournament! This was not a real competition whatsoever because the weaker competitors got to advance to the finals and that Koto bitch won simply because everyone went easy on her!
