I was rooting for yoshino until her childhood backstory scene from few eps ago, masamune really went through existential crisis throughout the series solely because of her selfishness

why does she deserve to die? As a servant not a slave, she made a mistake and regretted it. Children make mistakes all the time and say things they regret later when they know better. She punished herself mentally which is worse than physically, for 8+ years due to that mistake and fell in love with the MC but still choose Aki's happiness over her own. On Aki's request she confessed her feelings and was rejected which impacted her even further yet she put on a brave face because at least Aki would be happy.
If Aki didn't make that request judging by her character she would have held those feelings inside and suffer even more. Not to mention that if the story continued she may end up serving her first crush as the future master of the house her family serves and potentially feeling regret every day onwards. I'm not pro Yoshino but considering she's also suffered like Masamune did, she deserves happiness too, just not with Masamune.

Firstly, causing a divorce isn't a crime and sometimes it needs to be done. If one partner is mistreating the other and they are not strong enough to handle it then they need support to take that step. As for Yoshino helping the mc to take revenge, she already knew that the mc would be drawn to Aki's charismatic personality and wouldn't go through with it as she had said in a previous episode. As for getting in the way again, I already responded to that in the previous post.

I also expected to the foreign girl to appear more. With her being on the poster and in the OP and all.

BTW there is an OVA that takes place after the end of the manga that was bundled with the last volume. This adapted the whole manga (there is am ongoing sequel tho. I wonder if it'll eventually get adapted too) so you can watch that now.
