Lol Trigger's appearance was funny, the way he was reacting to Mr Villain's excitement over pandas was great. I thought it was interesting that Mr Villain is completely open about his love for pandas to Trigger but I guess the rivalry is more on Trigger's side.

I'm glad the two kids were able to reunite with one another one last time and I thought it was sweet Mr Villain wished for it too.

The beach scene was so wholesome, I liked seeing Mr Villain indulging in his inner child.

He wrote "may they meet" but as he didn't know their names, you can easily misunderstand his tanzaku as that someone wishes that orihime and hikoboshi meet, which in turn could be interpreted as may everyone's wishes come true, because iirc all wishes on tanzaku will come true when they meet. And one of the tanzaku wished for world peace so he might've blocked his own aspirations to get those kids together one last time. I'm probably getting too emotional over this episode.

There is a theory i saw in a forum that Evil General is very atunned with nature, and that the solo children he meets are all spirits of their designated areas, such as last time's Sakura tree girl and this week's beach child. This explains why beach child was on their own and nobody called for them when its sunset. It's just a theory tho so idk how true it is.

Either that, or they're there to examine this alien being that's there to try to wipe out the dominant creatures on the planet they exist on. Try to see what his deal is and just how "evil" he is.
