Rion is the only one not gets bullied its very obvious since the start and his the only one who is no longer from the same school but still gets chosen TBH the trigger was Rion Wish from the very start and the others are only handpick student's buy his sister with 7 yrs gap each Kokoro and Rion have 14yrs gap with the others The reason is Rion is not counted the wish is "For him and her sister to go to the same school and a school have a students" its perfectly match 7yrs gap from the youngest to the oldest Aki the 14yrs gap is only because the one student with 7 years gap is Mr. Wolf she is originally 7 yrs older than Rion meaning she is 7yrs older then Kokoro = Kokoro 7 yrs younger to Mr. Wolf BUT since mister Wolf original 14yrs old body is nearly dying She created a 7yrs old child version of her wearing a Little Red Riding hood outfit and a Wolf Mask which means Mr. Wolf is 7yrs Older in real world than Kokoro but 7yrs younger in the Castle/Mirror World which result in a perfect 7-7-7-7-7-7-7 (7yrs old gap each of 7 people) the 8th person is Rion who also have 14 yrs gap with the other (BUT its because of the original wish being on the same school studying together with her sister) and a 7 years old child Rion is not suited to be a student on the Castle that's why her sister from previous era before dying Picked the 14yrs old Rion "Future Rion" who is the same age as Mr. Wolf before she die but if she use her 14yrs old body she can't move so she use a healthy 7yrs old body as a result Kokoro where chosen who is the same age of Rion... and at the ending Rion wish to not forget is most likely granted He is obviously waiting for someone he knows = kokoro TBH if Rion forgets everything there's really no point for her sister granting his wish The #1 Rule of everyone memories gets erased does not apply to Rion it will not make sense if he did not remember her sister. #2 The Wish granting also do not apply to Rion since the one monitoring everything is her sister and his wish is already granted.

my question is... why did aki remember kokoro though?

Kokoro is such a kindhearted girl, the girls made her life a living hell, this movie was truly heartwarming thank you Japan and gogo.

I definitely agree with your ratings. Honestly I did not had high expectations from this movie. But they definitely surprised me with this. This movie is really underrated.

Can't believe those guys! They knew they'll forget everything and they didn't keep a diary, didn't write a note, a name, an address... nothing.

It makes sense, if your not gonna remember anything, it's like its never happened. Any notes, diaries etc. would just confuse you, and even if they did contact each other, it'd be like strangers meeting each other and it'll be extra weird because there's a 7 year gap between the each of them and they'd have no recollection on why they have each others details.

It would be cool if they all did meet up tho and somehow retained some memories of being together. I guess the best we're getting is that some of the characters already know eachother in some way like with the mc and aki.

As soon as I heard about that rule, I braced myself like I do when watching horror movies. Being chased by wolves is one of my worst nightmares!
