They must be selling a lot of platinum arowana, if they're rich & smell fishy.
Yeah… And now he‘s got a bright kid indebted to him :<
What does rich smell like? "Smells like broke" is the weirdest expression i have ever heard of. The rich family seems fishy or SUS would probably a better use.
Honestly, I don't think that they're bad guys. They might be plotting something with quite some potential for collateral damage, but I do think that the government is probably worse...
the lucky koushi even had a kanojo :D
Hope Hineko gets well (-🙏-)
With a bit of talk..... she's staying!! Is it Yor's VA? Well she's a beauty unlike both her dad and mom XD. I sense some bullsh** coming from him just to make him do the dirty work but we'll see lol.
1 woman down....3 more to go ;-;
I thought the same: that old fatso is up to something bad and that boy will regret it later
From what he said last episode, he wants Koushi to use his father's sky-fire or whatsitcalled to make him weapons...supposedly to preserve order if/when the current regime falls...but it seems clear he wants to get into the fight for leadership and take over.
he want a revolution, and the boy seem to have talent for give it to him, and if he can have his 16yo girl in bonus :D
Not surprised to hear that considering she’s a popular actor
cute Kira that's new 😉
*Sad Yoshikage Kira boises*
They've got a Phantom Troupe.
If they're going to throw out the kid for leaving the door open, at least show us that the others properly close the door after going outside. Cuz that hunter sure didn't give a signal to close the door at all.
Nobody announced that rule at all. "Adult" Benio didn't know about it either. Idk how they want humankind to survive if they don't look out for more than themselves.
My thoughts exactly. Pretty easy to come waving with the train sacraments, when they didn't even bother to properly have someone explain it to them in the first place.
Hmmm rich guy kinda sus, feels like he's definitely got more planned for the bottled lightning than he's letting on with Koushi
Was not expecting a dragon to suddenly pop up, these trains really can't catch a break lol
Wow, so that's what the dragon in the ED was. I wonder if she'll meet all those characters she passes by in it, I'm intrigued with the Jungle duo playing Tarzan and Jane
This episode is going to be good.
Whos with me.
Finally it’s out here
I'm soo curious about their world setup. If their "sun" works anything like the original then theirs rises in the north and sets in the south. Soo interesting..... Gods that live 300 years? Divine clan? WTH !! I wanna know moarrr! :D
the 5 magic power are wuxing from china (fire water earth wind wood) and not from japanese (which have void instead wood), but the monster seem more yokai/demon,..except this dragon have 5finger, while chinese have 4, and japanese 3...so lot of approximation...so inspiration is clearly around japanese mythology.
And about spider-clan, historically tsushigumo are a term for rebell clan hidding in country,, its also the name of giant yokai spider they had hard time to kill, its important to notice, because theres hidden meaning in the names in this anime, since it come from a book, and kira explain a bit of it to houki.
but i'm afraid to say i dont see most of them
Thanks for the information and yeah, there's so much going on! I hope it doesnt get lost in translation...
thank you so much for the explaination
Oh my danger!
"Later we'll dine with my wife and daughter."
Oh, so you're saying oyakodon is on the menu? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
The world building in this is really nice. I especially like what we learned on Koushi's side of things.
I guess someone collected all 7 Dragon Balls...
When that man mentioned his daughter I for some reason thought of Hayami Saori , AND low and behold everyone, glad to see her here
Blue Eyes White Dragon on the scene.
Seto Kaiba: I wanna get my hands on that!
Gojo satoru!
Dude wtf what that last jpeg???!!! It‘s WAYYY TOO stylized for the creature shown in the anime :/
Hineko get well soon.
I'm really not a fan of the animation style at all. Maybe certain aspects were creative decisions, but they reek of having run out of time and needing to rush it out the door. Look at all the detail on the dragon in that end screenshot, and compare to the white blob during the rest of the scene. I don't know how to describe it other than unfinished. It's such a shame because the story and worldbuilding is pretty interesting so far, but the animation is fumbling it hard.
yes they definitely rushed the animation... it was even more obvious last episode when half the story was just static images... too bad cause the story is very interesting...
Rulers of humanity after an apocalyptic event aren't exactly human like common people and own technology of pre-apocalypse era and also control human population through artificially controlled means? Sounds familiar. The author Reiko Hinata seems to have studied human history with depth and delicacy and explored many potential chronology.
Even in this hopeless world. The love and kindness random stranger girls showed eachother is giving me hope that it is going to be all alright.
Step mom giving off ara ara vibe
oh nah big ass dragon
Actually, it had a tiny ass for its size... though, I can't help but to leave out one immature chuckle at the idea of a big butt dragon... Gosh, that sounds even worse, now that I'm writing it...
Well, that final scene had some serious production issues
Wh0a
i can't tell if that old rich dude is a good guy or a bad one.
at first i thought he is bad, because he is fishy, but so far he did only good things. interesting. (i still feel like he is a bad person tho.)
btw it was an another interesting ep!
I think he's dubious and is merely playing the long game. If he wants some mass-produced devices/weapons to use once the political crisis he spoke about last episode happens, they won't be made overnight.
This is cooking up dawg.
Well damn, I'm always up for a rebellion against a corrupt ruler
Letting a catastrophy going its course for political gain? Culling their own population?
Why does this sound so familiar IRL?
The rich family smells kinda fishy.
