I'm surprised Yayoi didn't break out of the mind control once she had noticed Keitarou wasn't scared and was smiling. But it's interesting to see that even Yayoi isn't invulnerable to attacks, I can't imagine the fear Keitarou must be feeling in such a forest filled with spirits completely alone with no idea how to escape. I hope he stays sane.

That was weird.

I swear this is like the only anime that's focused on horror that does it right. Super unnerving and actually giving real story to every ghost which gives everything depth instead of just using cheap jumps or quick scares. I usually hate horror anime but unless this has a really poor ending this a solid 8/10 for me.

There's still 14 more episodes left.

I was expecting this to lose all the scary elements as we progress through the series but I'm glad I was wrong. The scariness gets renewed every arc and becomes even more creepier.
