One of the things I'm loving about this anime is that it actually shows the protagonists turning pros and even their future matches.
That's a real feat for a sport anime as they use to always only focus on school tournaments being held in a single year.
I know just a few sport anime that does the same as Birdie Wing on that level and I love them for that. Here's a short list if you're curious :

Don't bring a gun to an artillery fight. Eve spent too much time **** talking and now it has come back to bite her. For once, "Shut up golf nerd, I do what I want!" didn't work out. Banana girl reveals her horrifying technique and drives Eve into a corner! Not even manipulating the forces of nature or golf nerd's EVE uniform drip are enough. Aoi is upset that her girlfriend is in a similar situation that she was in 2 episodes ago but there is much to cheer for. For Aoi it's like dad finally got back from golf shopping and is on cloud 9. Stay in golf don't do school. As a final parting gift Aoi blesses the dubious relationship between coach and captain. Good luck coach!

Don't take a shot every time someone says rainbow in this episode, please. The British Open is going to be rushed as Eve still has to fight another enemy in the golf hellscape of mentor and pro. Next time - Eve breaks the seal of an ancient power.

You need to get high to cover distance, butgetting higher means also getting affected by the wind. Artillery is less susceptible by wind then a bullet.
i have no idea how special it is but leave a big hole in the board at 250m sounds quite powerful
