Hi. Thanks for this, have searched for a solution to this problem and found your useful post. Can I check the dimensions of the bracket you purchased? You stated you bought a 10cm wide bracket. Is it 50mm x 50mm x 100mm?
Thanks

https://uploads.disquscdn.c... Hi we have one of these sofa beds and one of the springs has bent, so we can't reassemble it. Do you have any suggestions? thanks

the only angle bracket I found at HomeDepot was this: https://www.homedepot.com/p... and it worked great. I would just advise to place it in the far corner where the sagging point is. As long as it doesn't interfere with the closing mechanism it will provide support and fix the problem.

Hi, glad that this worked for you. Did you bolt the new bracket over the existing connecting bracket, or did you just place it without any screws?

I simply placed it on top, no screws.

I screwed it in and added some padded tape on the edges to avoid exposing sharp edge.

Just wanted to thank you for this, my sofa started slipping yesterday after 5 years of use, and this was an easy fix! Especially since I couldn’t figure out what exactly was the failing component on my own.
