I remember the day I realized that I was no longer the primary demographic for Nintendo games — that as I grew up, Pokémon wouldn’t age with me, but would instead focus on building new memories for the next generation of children.
When I realized this, I did what any reasonable person would do: I constantly berated Nintendo on social media for not catering to my wants, while fighting anybody who disagreed with me.
