"I'm surprised." Said nobody.

Exactly.

I would expect this result.

Its part of the problem.

Conservatives see their politics as separate from themselves. Just a part of who they are.

And as we are rational people we change our outlook as the facts change.

So we can disagree with people and still be friends.

But for the Left their politics are a bedrock part of their very identity. Who they are as human beings.

So anything that questions that identity it taken as a personal assault.

Its part of why they are such frothingly nasty people. When you make a good point that causes them, even briefly, to re-examine their position and political beliefs it becomes a serious threat to their being.

It is, in part, why we lose elections, we just want to do our jobs, fix problems and go home.

The Left wants to run everyone's lives.

So they have the advantage in fanaticism.

Thanks for the verification, Captain Obvious!

Captain "Dartmouth University" Obvious, that is!

But this wasn't obvious to Dartmouth University.

Dartmouth University has Republican professors?
Are you sure they are not just shaved BIGfoots?

d8l0vo18b: It's Dartmouth College, not University, although the bloated administration likes to pretend that Dartmouth is Harvard in the Woods, or the University of Michigan. The better to attract juicy grants from the federal government (i.e., Obama hold-overs and Clintonites) and from liberal foundations.

Apparently, you missed the very first line under the top picture: "A recently conducted Dartmouth University survey supplies some invaluable insights."

Sam Pyeatte • 5 years ago

Well they are certainly in the woods...or is it lost in the weeds? When I was in college, they had ROTC and it was mandatory for freshmen - that would really light their fire today.

Joey Beagle • 5 years ago

Thus the survey is shown to be true. This is too easy.

Just charge white males to the right of Mao $200,000 a year tuition. See how that works.

We needed a study to tell us this?

pfbonney • 5 years ago

No. THEY needed a study tho tell them this.

And their next study? To see if men and women are psychologically different.
