Here i am, being excited that "ban ryu" from hwarang is back... only to get disappointed that they killed his character too early in the drama... 😔

Wait , can someone pls tell me why is that governor not recognizing crown prince , i’m sure he knows what crown prince looks like as they already had conversation before .

In previous episodes, it was established that he has prosopagnosia (or face blindness), a disorder where he is unable to recognise faces so he can usually tell people apart by their voices, clothes, mannerisms etc. Which is why he analysed Officer Park Bok Eun's face shape, way of talking and hands because those are the points that he would remember him by. But for some reason, he's only able to recognise Hong Shim's face. Hope this helped!
