forget about the book , everything doesn't have to stick to it. Just watch the seties as book never existed. Only this way you will be able to enjoy in series entirely

I hope they upload it here. With t-mobile, Hulu is free so I may just register and watch it there. Was looking forward to this one. I hope they keep it close to the book. Reading great reviews. Saw the old version and thought they didn't do justice. Always wondered if anyone would take the rusk of remaking it. This is an epic. I hear there is talk about season 2 too. Also wish they'd remake Zatoichi. The Korean movie the Swordsman is excellent. Stars one of my fav actors. Jang Hyuk.

Hiroyuki Sanada literally dropped a bomb.

Didn't have a battle but other than that that was damn GOOD and they did it all in 10 eps.

They are speaking both English and Japanese in the eps.

yes but majority of actors came from japan while some are american -japanese. So japanese will be present till end I guess.

this is american project bro, with japanese actors and one of directors (T. Fukunaga is American Japanese). Because of japanese actors they will keep japanese language, I guess.

Was a bit disappointed with first episode. 2nd was ok. Visuals improved in the 2nd. Background music is excellent.

2nd was directed by Takeshi Fukunaga. I love his films, and I trully love what he did with 2nd episode of Shogun. I'm not very happy with choose of western actor. Dunno who this guy is, and so far he didn't show much. It is true though that he was only in few scenes.
