Does Tessie provide you any data on the cost of 1 whoopee on the Tesla whoopee cushion versus a legacy whoopee cushion?

In all seriousness, we're looking at moving to an EV, so I am finding these posts really interesting. Our challenge is balancing our budget for an EV versus finding an EV that will have a decent enough battery to get us up to Scotland for our trips to see Laurens fam. We would rather not have to stop halfway. A Tesla is definitely tempting...

One of the best options when reviewing options is to look at sites like "A Better Route Planner" which allows you to put in source/destination/car and it will use available data to work out if you can get there and if not places to charge.

There is no beating the efficiency of the Tesla at the moment, you can get over 5mi/kWh as long as the elements aren't against you.

If you *do* need to stop and charge then at the moment the Tesla network makes it easier than all others from what I've found, whilst most networks are still playing catch-up in terms of number of stalls at a site Tesla ones regularly have 8+ *very* fast chargers. When I stopped at the Trafford chargers on the way home at christmas it was stupid busy but I was still in and out in 15m because of the large number of stalls and the 250kW peak power available.

Give me a shout if you wanna know anything, I spent/spend *far* too long researching and learning all this stuff :P
