Paul Reed down to 40. Jalen Smith 34 Kira Lewis 33 A few interesting ones in the 2nd.

OKCJim • 4 years ago

The guy they have us taking at 25 I could see Presti taking. He looks like the center version of Bazley. Long, skinny and skilled

d21 • 4 years ago

If Killian Hayes is there at 12, you move up for him

OKCJim • 4 years ago

How smart was it for CP to get on the Derek Fisher roids and say it's because he changed his diet that he's now quicker and more athletic.

I know I saw this from ESPN

AndyRed • 4 years ago

I would be very interested to know how many players have had a career, who have not been able to dunk. If it comes in around 2.5% or less like I expect, that would be a story.

Best All-Star Game in years?

Pokuchetski • 4 years ago

they redisigned it to make the ending more competitive and it was

Team Lebron going to win.

204 . . . used lots of letter hints

ShootorShootnot • 4 years ago

Looking at potential Chris Paul teams

Philly, Chicago, Charlotte and Washington seem to be the only real potential options. Of those Charlotte seems unlikely.

All these teams have big money contracts to trade, no chance at Giannis (or any major 2021 free agents) and front offices who are trying to win.

The Knicks are an interesting choice but I think they will keep their powder dry until they miss on Giannis

pepsi • 4 years ago

Stop. Presti isn't trading CP3 to some random bottom of the league team.

King Zay • 4 years ago

Knicks getting LaMelo. No need for Chris Paul.

Languid • 4 years ago

Trade him for Zion please

ShootorShootnot • 4 years ago

Thatā€™s a funny comment to read from someone named sustainability

Guest • 4 years ago
ShootorShootnot • 4 years ago

Shai is in yr2 and looking like a star. You donā€™t trade those guys.

Also superstars only get moved when they ask out and there is no one on the board

Guest • 4 years ago
ShootorShootnot • 4 years ago

Shai is going to be a player outperforming his contract for the next 3 years.

Heā€™s not even close to his ceiling. Moving him now is the definition of selling low

Guest • 4 years ago
ShootorShootnot • 4 years ago

Players donā€™t make that much their first rookie extension/contract. The 10 year max is a significantly higher cap percentage then the 5 year Max

Guest • 4 years ago
ShootorShootnot • 4 years ago

No he isnā€™t. His first year of his max deal starts at 29M. Itā€™s a lot but thatā€™s due to how much the cap has risen.

Also with Shai itā€™s worth noting that due to being traded heā€™s not eligible for the supermax so if he becomes a star thatā€™s another point of positive value for OKC

bread Wanna baker • 4 years ago

i think retiring in nola, while guiding their youth would be epic. we get jrue , everybody happy.

ShootorShootnot • 4 years ago

Why would NOLA trade Jrue for CP3? Doesnā€™t make much sense. They have a good team they like and can use that extra money for extensions (Ball/Ingram) and useful vets

Idiomatic • 4 years ago

I think the Saturday morning cartoon yesterday should have been the 2011 dunk contest. I had to go watch the video again lol my memory sucks

Is it legal for the thunder to buy out half of his contract knowing there is a team willing to pay him, let's say, 45 m for 3 years?

ShootorShootnot • 4 years ago

Yes. But it wonā€™t happen. CP3 is head of the players association and taking less money to be bought out is a bad look so he canā€™t do it due to political pressure

bread Wanna baker • 4 years ago

the idea is he won't lose a penny. 45m from the thunder and 45m from miami

ShootorShootnot • 4 years ago

Rank and file players are mad at guys like CP3 and Lebron for their ā€œpro superstar addendaā€ and many are happy seeing his inflated contract screw him over.

For Paul to be bought out heā€™d have to give up his final year player option for 40+ million and he canā€™t do that. Even if he doesnā€™t care about losing money he will lose face/respect

bread Wanna baker • 4 years ago

well, he signed a contract with HOUSTON ,and they kicked him away like the last of dogs

ShootorShootnot • 4 years ago

Exactly. Personally itā€™s why I wanted OKC to be buyers at the trade deadline and try and open up a 2 year window. (If they werenā€™t blowing things up)

Unfortunately OKC did neither

King Zay • 4 years ago

Lakers?

ShootorShootnot • 4 years ago

No one can afford him and his contract runs past the 2021 FA class.

Heā€™s most likely got another year hear unless Philly decide to do something drastic

what is • 4 years ago

Don't worry, I waste more of my time making these than I do yours šŸ™ƒ
