Credit cards rip us off every month with high interest rates and monthly fee. Time to get rid of the federal global central and western banking system.

I have Capital One and I do not like their card or their service. They contacted me and said I had a suspicious charge on my credit card for about $39.00 and they questioned me like I was a criminal, asking me if I had placed an order with that company. I said I don't remember but I asked them to tell me what the merchandise was and maybe that would help me remember. They said they didn't have that information so they declined the purchase. The next day I went to the store to get a dehumidifier and didn't take much cash, planning on paying with my credit card that I have used for about 40 years and found out my card account was locked. Luckily I dug through my purse and found my old check book that I rarely use, but how embarrassing. Tonight they did it again. They decide for me who I can purchase from and they declined my purchases and this time this nut case said she is cancelling my card and I have to wait for a new card. She bragged about declining payment to a merchant for another client over a 94 cent charge. Now who in their right mind does stupid crap like that.

Every time I find a website about credit card rates and offers it's always for the major banks. I want reviews for the best cards in the entire country/world. Something that compares with or is better than my City National Bank of WV card which gives $1 per point rewards and has 7.49% APR or my Navy Federal Credit Union Card that never has cash advance fees or balance transfer fees. Does anyone know if such a website exists?

Seems to me that ALL these cards are inappropriately categorized - All the time... and in big banner search links.

..they should be grouped as "Best Transfer Credit Cards", NOT "Low APR." Not long term. Granted, an ideal scenario would be to transfer any balances to one of these cards, and to payoff the balances before promotions expire.

The reality is that more than a few patrons find themselves returning to double digit interest charges within two years because
(1) of not successfully eradicating the transferred balances
(2) incurring new charges in the interim

(Footnote: if new charges are applied to a card, at the non-promotion rate, after the window for promotion transfer balances has expired but during the promotional rate period...any payments will FIRST be applied to the non-promotion rate charges, i.e. incurred interest charges will be addressed before any principal, I.E. it is entirely feasible, at promotion's end, to have a balance LARGER than when the balance transfer was first activated, with the ENTIRE new balance incurring interest at the regular rate. That information is certainly available...in the fine print of the terms and conditions provided with the plethora of other documents accompanying the newly activated credit line. Yikes!)

IF YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR A NO INTEREST TRANSFER (A very plausible scenario, given the strong correlation between the need to find such an offer and a tendency to incur detrimental credit report information beforehand)

Find a true FLAT rate (below 10% credit card) that can be utilized in extreme circumstances (ideally one with no annual fee.)
Better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it.

Buyer (online) Beware. Really

Is there really a low interest card out there? My bank fort sill national issued me a card at 12% 20 years ago and it has not gone up or down.
They tell me that is the best rate they offer.
I would love to find one with a lower rate.

Truly low rate credit cards are usually through credit unions often in the 5% to 9% range.
