I too second all ur thoughts here...things are the same with all moms and some lovely relations...they r more earnest than us in purchasing and packing things for us :) and ya, things r same vth all husbands too, giving a stern luk when things pile up for travelling...the joy vl b more pronounced for us when we manage all hurdles and bring the luggage home away from home very safely...and husbands, despite their stern luk before, they'll b the more happy lot now after getting to taste all the goodies brought back from home...girls r girls and boys r boys...

You're so right. I also got some Sivakasi famous karasev and mittai and he enjoyed it every evening. It's a nice thing to see them enjoy their native foods :) No?

Btw, I also brought with me Indian Tamarind and the pulikuzhambu tasted wonnnnderful. Since the chili powder was also home-made it tasted just like my mom's pulikuzhambu :)
