I make the sauce the same way but I add a tsp of white vinegar or lime juice to give the almost pomodoro feel... Try it... Tastes good..

My knowledge on Italian cooking is very little :( Hate to admit it. So next time I make this pizza sauce will definitely add lime juice to get the pomodoro feel :) Thank you for your comments Nitu.
