The democrat sector is in the pursue to disarm the American public, and in doing so increase the control over the American population.

This topic of guns, shooters, 2nd Amendment , NRA , this and that, etc, etc,...is really getting almost out of control, so let's be straight and simple.

First, there is not such thing as gun violence;...guns do not kill, people kill,... they use guns, knives, hammers, cars and bare hands,....anything.

Second, words in a paper ( a law ) will never stop killer individuals to continue killing with guns, or knives, or any other type of weapon.

And third, the NRA has nothing , absolutely nothing to do with individuals with mentally challenging issues, acquire guns or any other type of weapon to do horrendous things.

Criminals / outlaws,... always find their way to do their evil work.

This order is unconstitutional.

5th Amendment
No person shall be held to answer for a capital or otherwise infamous crime unless on a presentment or indictment of a grand jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the militia, when in actual service in time of war or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use without just compensation.

War is coming, count on it.

Robert Knox • 5 years ago

I hope it doesn't come to that, but the Democrats seem determined to bring it about. Our founders gave us the 1st amendment so we could criticize our rulers and they gave the the 2nd amendment so we did not have to fear them. Government employees who behave reasonably needn't fear law-abiding citizens.

"The Long-Departed Gun Control Train" at http://www.scragged.com/art... sums up the issue and shows why no gun owner can trust Democrats no matter what they say.

Florence Pearson • 5 years ago

If they come for their guns, they have every right to shoot to kill anyone attempting to take them. I hope the dems lose lots of their partners in crime.

Codygunn • 5 years ago

I feel it is time to move. Soros and the privy council to be removed first.

Trough Master • 5 years ago

I just told that to my friends. This time, it starts in the far north. That won't stick.

theoneshot1 • 6 years ago

Unfortunately it seems the Constitution has been abolished in this country. Hmm Lexington and Concord?

sc • 5 years ago

just try telling that to a gun grabber.

Invariably, most Mass Killers turn out to be Demonrats, or their Children. As we're seeing across America today, the Demonrats are committing violent acts against innocent people whose only crime is to have a different opinion. Turns the Demonrat rhetoric around 180 degrees doesn't it?

Andy • 6 years ago

"Many would agree that a person with a mental illness should not have a gun"

That's because most people associate "mental illness" with "crazy person". What about people seeking counseling for depression, PTSD, divorce? What about bi-polar people? How is this going to be determined? Who will make this determination? What redress does a citizen have when charged as having a mental illness? What are the potential legal costs of defending oneself? Will you be compensated for confiscated property? Is it lawful to take someone's property when no crime has been committed?

Mental illness is too broad. This is a gateway term for "gun grab". Fight back America!

irish19 • 6 years ago

And therein lies the rub. Anyone who disagreed with Stalin was called mentally illl and either sent to a gulag or a mental institution.

Will • 5 years ago

That is Always the rub. That is why the founders went so far out of their way to give citizens the right to fight back against tyrants.

Florence Pearson • 5 years ago

Democrats are the tyrants. They need to be taken out of any political office or we will end up like nazi Germany. Abolish the demonrat party. Take our country back. Start executing the tyrants.

Same goes in the UK. Copied Stalin's tactics.

arthur facteau • 6 years ago

Well said. Am both Bipolar and have PTSD, do not sleep well, and my best friend for years, Mr.Colt, has never hurt anyone as long as I have known him, and he damn sure has the skills. Sadly, some things, like PTSD, are grossly misunderstood, esp. by many medical doctors. Truth is, most people with mental health issues, like the ones I have mentioned, are just as normal as anybody else, just a bit more complicated, I think would be a good way to put it. Sure, there are some, and if you look at the total number of people that you can consider 'mentally ill' and the number of those that might become dangerous, that number is rather small considering the overall total number of people. Should the ones that could become dangerous have weapons? Hell no, but there should still be due process,a way to assure they do not legally have weapons, not just a knee jerk gun grab.

dad1927 • 6 years ago

disarm Hillary as mental case

Will • 5 years ago

kilary doesn't need a weap. We pay for armed guards for her.

Frankie1429 • 5 years ago

My niece's husband was deployed 7 times in 10 years. He got out and joined a group that helped other vets who had PTSD. He counseled 100's of vets over the years. Then one day he put a gun to his head, told my niece that he loved her and he was sorry, then shot himself right in front of her. Most of the guys with PTSD who 'lose it', end up killing themselves, not other people. People who are mentally disturbed should not have guns, but determining who those people are is up to someone who has been trained in that field, not politicians nor law enforcement.

Heart breaking.

arthur facteau • 5 years ago

I could not agree with you more. Really sorry about what happened, I had a cousin came back from Viet Nam, was good for about a year, then killed himself. I was really young at the time, but old enough to have a clue. was my favorite cousin. There needs to be a lot more done for our vets with this, they did for us, we need to do for them.

Trough Master • 5 years ago

What a sad, sad story.

Trough Master • 5 years ago

Always remember this. No one, no one wants to attempt to take guns away from American patriots. Even the Japanese knew that in WW2. There are so many more of us than there are police. Stand your ground, it is your right, it is your duty. Now they will want to haul me off.

Sharpshooter • 6 years ago

Many would also agree that a person with a "mental illness" shouldn't be in government either, but it hasn't stopped anything! Congress is full of "looney tunes", and they are determined to start a war in this country!

Frankie1429 • 5 years ago

Case in point, Rep. Hank Johnson (D) https://www.youtube.com/wat...

sc • 5 years ago

I listened to this idiot, and i still don't have any idea of what he talking about, and this is the first time I ever heard of an island tipping over and dumping all the inhabitants over board.

Robert Travis • 6 years ago

And another real biggie.....by what authority will the government enter a person’s residence and or private property to search for and confiscate the weapon? The 4th, 14th, and 8th amendments will have something to say about this illegal decree.

Cecile Hamman Moore • 5 years ago

THE SECOND AMENDMENT SAYS IT ALREADY..........

Robert Travis • 5 years ago

But the movement is about abolishing the 2nd

Trough Master • 5 years ago

So will scotus.

sc • 5 years ago

those Democ=rats don't think that the Constitution is relevant, and that they have the right to change it so that it fits their idea of a socialist/communist style of government.

baldwrench • 5 years ago

Most PTSD patients are ex-military and know very well the proper use of firearms and could be recalled to defend our Country. The oath taken never expires...

SnowflakeBlaster • 5 years ago

I think if I remember correctly there was an Agenda 21 or UN Agenda 2035 that ties in the 'determination' of being able to own firearms to your ACA healthcare records, based upon known medications you are now or HAVE EVER received in the past.

Think grieving spouses who take sedatives for a month or so after the death of a loved one, who are no longer being prescribed these medications - no distinctions would be made or used in those determinations. This has been a burr under my saddle for YEARS.

Will • 5 years ago

Given that many Americans have been indoctrinated into believing that gov't officials are 'good guys', looking out for our interests, this may stand in the face of it's unconstitutional roots. My question is, 'is this the kind of thing that can be implemented with an EO?"

Pete Brown • 5 years ago

Well Obama's DACA was an (admittedly) unconstitutional EO too and THAT was implemented?

Florence Pearson • 5 years ago

No. People need to learn that dems are not the "good guys". They are the boogeymen that your mother warned you about as a kid. They want you to live your life as they see fit. Under their control, your freedom will no longer exist.

Trough Master • 5 years ago

And who may I ask will decide who can keep their guns and who can't. Will they be hauling psychiatrist around in a paddy wagon to run in your house and decide by looking one over. I will tell you now. Remember it. Someone is going to get blown off of a front porch, and when they do, then they will think twice about heading on to the house next door. If it were me, I would for sure be a little gun shy.

This is the lowest of stupidity. Kavanaugh, put your robe on. Stupid will be coming your way.

Florence Pearson • 5 years ago

A Democrat will decide. See where that is going?

sc • 5 years ago

that is and easy one, first no one will have guns except for the body guards of the elite, all peons and surfs will bow down when they pass by in their limousines and if you don't you go to jail.

Al Lengyel • 6 years ago

Socialism Hitler style gun confiscation , What happened when group in Germany had their guns seized. ? History repeats itself because people either forget or learn nothing from it

I love the boys in blue but if they try there are going to be a lot of dead people on both side. If they think it would not escalate to a civil war where we war against the government try again. It will be no bars hold fight.

Cheryl Detar • 6 years ago

Neither the "boys in blue" or the military will turn on Americans. Most of them are on OUR side.

Herman Nelson • 6 years ago

You would be surprised. Their choice- enforce the "law" or no paycheck. They have families to take are of. Loyalty to an oath can vaporize quickly when faced with not paying the bills and feeding the family.

We shall see, just who's on Who's side.

John • 6 years ago

Sorry to have to say this, but I would have to agree,I believe war is coming.

Florence Pearson • 5 years ago

I know war is coming. The dems will be finished when it does.
