This is an outstanding article.

Htos1av • 4 years ago

That essay is an excellent example of why the commutard MUST NOT be allowed to exist after this war. YUGE mistake last time, letting them live when we had the nuclear advantage.

MH • 4 years ago

Baby Bob, you really should try to grow up and quit throwing your religious, non intellectual poo at all who believe other than you. If you want to talk of fairy tales, evolution is like believing a tornado went through a junk yard and created a modern jet airliner randomly. Go sit in your own vomit and stew you tool!

"Theory: In science, a well-substantiated explanation of some aspect of the natural world that can incorporate facts, laws, inferences, and tested hypotheses. The contention that evolution should be taught as a "theory, not as a fact" confuses the common use of these words with the scientific use. In science, theories do not turn into facts through the accumulation of evidence. Rather, theories are the end points of science. They are understandings that develop from extensive observation, experimentation, and creative reflection. They incorporate a large body of scientific facts, laws, tested hypotheses, and logical inferences. In this sense, evolution is one of the strongest and most useful scientific theories we have." -- National Academy of Sciences

Joe Ragonese • 4 years ago

You make the point...the theory of evolution, while the strongest, is still only a theory, not proven fact as some are saying.. To deny that a different route to mankind is possible is to shut your mind to science. Becoming a science denier.

BobC • 4 years ago

You don't understand. Evolution is both a fact and a scientific theory. You are a know nothing science denier and you people disgrace the human race. There is reason why biologists call you creationist "morons".

Joe Ragonese • 4 years ago

Facts and theory are not the same. But small minds as yours cannot comprehend that FACT! Which is why little minded people always resort to name calling to try to bully intelligent people to simply shut up and go along with your nonsense. Read the rest of the comments...

BobC • 4 years ago

Mr. Know Nothing: I have read 6 books about the overwhelming evidence for evolution. You have read zero books about the subject. You are an uneducated ducktard.

I don't understand why you science deniers advertise your total ignorance. Learn how to grow up.

Joe Ragonese • 4 years ago

BobC, you are exactly why this article was written. You do not have enough knowledge about the subject matter, nor the intellectual inquisitiveness to fully explore the subject. There have been science deniers like you since history was first recorded. It was a BobC clone who knew the world was flat and knew for a fact that Christopher Columbus was going to sail off the end of the world because it was known 'fact.'
Open up your mind to the possibilities that there is a different route to mankind. It really won't hurt. While you are passionate about your beliefs, emotion is not knowledge.
Thank you for reading this article and for your passion about the subject.

BobC • 4 years ago

You science deniers are insane, not to mention hard of thinking. You have an incurable brain damage problem. You have zero curiosity because you want to know nothing about the science that makes you cry. You ducktards for Jeebus will waste your entire pathetic lives being completely wrong about everything. Even worse, you advertise your ridiculous fear of science. You advertise your total ignorance of science. You don't even know what science is.

BobC • 4 years ago

I should throw out evolution which is supported by thousands of evidences from DNA sequencing, embryology, and thousands more evidences from numerous other branches of science, and replace all that science with your ridiculous childish magical creation fantasy (which has zero evidence because it's impossible). Nice try Mr. Ducktard.

Htos1av • 4 years ago

BOOM!
HEADSHOT!
WHERE ARE the millions, millions, and millions of "transitional" fossils? Where are all the half-baked bombardier beetle configs?, All the "flying" dinosaurs? The ten foot long rat(mammal) fossils?
1+1=2.
Anyone?

BobC • 4 years ago

We don't need any fossils. There is much stronger evidence from DNA sequencing which you know nothing about. Grow up and educate yourself. Are you afraid of looking things up?

BobC • 4 years ago

Human caused global working makes this moron cry.

BobC • 4 years ago

"Yet anyone who dares suggest that creationism is as much a viable theory as Darwinism is slapped down as dumb, illiterate or worse."

Amazing stupidity. Magical creationism is childish religious fantasy and it's not science. Evolution is the strongest fact of science. The person who wrote this nonsense should be ashamed of himself.

BobC • 4 years ago

"In creation science versus Darwinism debates"

Magical creationism is not science.

Evolution is called "evolution", not Darwinism.

There is no debate. Evolution has been accepted as fact for more than a hundred years.

Yrua Richard Cranium • 4 years ago

when i was in grade school, it was called the "theory of evolution". im not 100

allahu fubar

Htos1av • 4 years ago

"The Theory On The Origin of Species".
Look it up.

Punk27 • 4 years ago

Way back when, it was also accepted as "fact" that the universe and all in it revolved around the earth. Until real facts came along.

BobC • 4 years ago

"That makes the story of Adam and Eve feasible." Image the stupidity required to write about science and then invoke the adam/eve fantasy.

Marshall Gill • 4 years ago

It is true that science does consider there to be a likely "genetic Adam" or "genetic Eve". In typical fashion the religious often do base their beliefs upon a single factual point. There may have been genetic Adam and Eve but they did not procreate the entire human race. You don't get enough genetic diversity without something like 32 pairs, I believe.

If two human beings created the entire species that certainly would explain why so many of us appear to be inbred.

Htos1av • 4 years ago

The laws of entropy apply to human DNA just like every other molecule in existence @ any time ever, in the universe.

Marshall Gill • 4 years ago

Sure. One of the most important parts of that law is "without outside interference". Why do Creationists insist upon quoting that law and then misstating it? I assume that it is ignorance.

What that means is that it can't be used to refute evolution because living Earthly beings ARE subject to outside interference.

BobC • 4 years ago

The person who wrote this nonsense is a know-nothing science denier. Evolution (the strongest fact of science) makes him cry.

Human-caused global warming makes this moron cry.

Htos1av • 4 years ago

SHINY, new, Carmel compound troll account to block!^^^^

Marshall Gill • 4 years ago

The stupidity of this comment makes me want to cry. At what point will we be causing cooling as the Earth goes through cycles like it has since it's formation? You recognize that the Earth is billions of years old but don't realize that it has natural cycles?!!! Pitiful.

GuitarmanFL • 4 years ago

Bob, you are the reason he wrote this article...go get your crayons out.

BobC • 4 years ago

Why don't you science deniers grow up and educate yourselves. Does education make you cry.

You can do it. Just grow up and educate yourself instead of showing off your stupidity.

GuitarmanFL • 4 years ago

Then I can grow up to be just like you! Oooohh goodie!
