Gov Greg Abbott shut them down.. he said ALL equipment and facilities need to be focused on fighting the virus and NOT taking away that equipment, facilities or trained medical personnel from the effort of saving lives from the virus. Crucial medical resources should not be "wasted" on non-essential procedures (i.e. abortion classified in Texas as a non-essential procedure). PP went to court and the court smacked them down and upheld Abbott's position. Pray this shutdown spreads to other states as well. .

I'm not following you...??? I'm not seeing a down-side here. If they are re-assigned they are not continuing (at least for the time being) with abortions --which is a good thing. It's also possible, with God's grace, that having them practice medicine in a different capacity .. where people are actively praying to God and clinging to life ... may be the personal experience they need to open their eyes and turn their perspective around. For years we've prayed for abortions to stop ... for the doctors to stop their work .. this may be evolving into that time.

With "medical" resources stretched so thin pulling out all the stops to save lives ... why would ANY of these critical resources (equipment, facilities and trained medical staff) be allocated instead to kill lives? Now Pelosi is proposing another package. Trump and GOP Senators are also proposing another package - Trump wants 2 trillion for infrastructure spending when we have historic and unsustainable deficits. There will be another package and the progressives will get more of their progressive wish list enacted into law. while the GOP will demand nothing as regards their supposed conservative agenda.

Many people around the world will suffer even more than usual because of the virus. If they are left to suffer alone, especially by catholics, there will be some very uncomfortable conversations to be had on a certain day. I am absolutely certain of this.
