We couldn't get that song out of our heads for weeks afterwards!! 🤣 It's such an amazing place isn't it, we'd love to see it in the Summer too! Let us know how it is if you visit again!

We also went to Sherwood Forest when housesitting nearby. It was November, but not raining! We actually went back to the house and watched the original Disney Robin Hood afterwards. Even now, reading your post, I have “Robin Hood and Little John running through the forest …” stuck in my head 😂
There were still quite a few fall colors on the trees when we were there, but we’d love to go back in summer when the canopy must be amazing!
