I emailed my 2 California Senators and my district's House of Representative requesting them to reject the latest 2024 WHO IHR pandemic treaty amendments. I included CHD links on information.
One Senator replied with an email confirming reception of my email but never replied back with an answer. The other Senator didn't reply with any email.
My district's House of Representative(a democrat) did reply with a confirmation email to my request and also later with another email with this response to my rejection request:
"Thank you for contacting me regarding vaccines and the World Health Organization (WHO). I appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts with me on this issue. One of the most important jobs as your representative is to defend my beliefs and voting record and find common ground wherever possible.
Beginning in 2020, we faced a once-in-a-generation world-wide pandemic due to COVID-19. During this unprecedented disaster, we looked to medical professionals and disease experts for guidance to protect the people we serve.
While our pandemic response was imperfect, I am thankful for the leadership of the National Institute of Health and the World Health Organization. Their guidance in partnership with the successful vaccines saved countless lives.
Representative Andy Biggs recently introduced H.R 79, the WHO Withdrawal Act which would remove the United States from the World Health Organization. Should this bill come before the House, I will vote against it."

Today(6-3-24), I received the following email reply from a California Senator on the attempted changes to the pandemic treaty:
"The global community has faced significant challenges in responding to the coronavirus, and assessing and strengthening the capabilities of international health organizations to respond to future pandemics is critical in limiting the spread of diseases and viruses.
The WHO outlined potential measures to create a more robust health emergency preparedness, response, and resilience architecture, such as by implementing systems to improve coordination and training for the emergency workforce and by establishing better financial tools to support pandemic preparedness. These proposals have yet to be considered by the member states of the WHO.
Please know that I appreciate hearing your perspective on this issue, and I will keep your thoughts in mind as the Biden administration continues to work with the WHO and the global community to strengthen our pandemic preparedness efforts."

On 7/26/24, I finally received the following email reply from the other United States Senator(Laphonza Butler) here in California. This was over 2 months after the email I sent her on 5/22/24 opposing the treaty changes:

learned during COVID-19. The voluntary agreement does not overrule any nation’s ability to pass individual pandemic-related policies. The draft
includes, “states have the sovereign right to determine and manage their approach to public health, pandemic preparedness and response pursuant
