Way to go out with a bang.
Ultimate boxter finally engaged.
Go at it and have EV's in your lineup and with all your models, but offer ICE as an option as well along side them. not everyone wants an EV. Whether a Challenger or this 718 don't alienate your core buyer's like some 🍺 company you may have heard of did.
A toy for the 1%, who pay zero in taxes.
Whoever you see driving this thing, just arrest them & seize their assets. You just KNOW they're guilty!
Jealous much?
are you the 2pacofcarscoops lol
Probably the most idi0tic implementation of a soft top in the industry today, but thanks to the engine, all is forgiven. To whoever's lucky enough to get their hands on this, congratulations. You won't lose a penny in value, garage queen or not.
we don't need to listen to music...the muffler please
You don't need this, just get a regular GTS 4.0 or GT4 or Spyder and send it off to DeMan Motorsport. 500+ horsepower, and lower gearing so that you can really enjoy your car on the road at lower speeds and not just on a track.
Yeah the suspension on the GT4 RS is insanely stiff from what I've heard & this won't be any different.
That said, whoever was lucky enough to get an allocation (having the money to buy this is the easy part lol) has 3 other cars & regular access to a track.
That's a very interesting color. I'm not sure I could do it...my 7 year old would dig it though.
This is the Dodge Challenger of the "exotic" world. How old is this chassis?
If it ain't broke... The Dodge on the other hand.
You think it's old because you're too used to unnecessary change and disposable models, if it ain't broke (and is profitable as hell) don't fix it. Also, you'd be an idiot to dump money on ICE platform development in this day and age.
I think the chassis in this is still really good. Mid-engined with RWD, great balance through the corners, it has all the ingredients of a world-class drivers car. The only thing it has been missing has been better engines and lower gearing but Porsche has done this on purpose to keep the 911 above the 718.
That's why Porsche hasn't really invested in this platform. As you have stated, it's obvious that Porsche doesn't want the 718 to surpass the 911.
Meh... no manual, not interested.
