According to the US Energy Information Administration, about 60% of total US electricity generation is from fossil fuels. Burning gas and coal to power overly-expensive EVs doesn't sound very green.

And slowly more and more of the grid is coming from renewables. Eventually making that a non-issue. So, what exactly is your point?

US will still be burning coal to make electricity after 2030, like China, Indonesia, India, Japan and many other countries.

People keep saying this but... Wtf does that have to do with EVs? That's a energy grid problem, or do you expect Ford to start building nuclear power stations?
