Families across Connecticut can search for providers offering evidence-based trauma-informed treatments by visiting www.kidsmentalhealthinfo.com and clicking on "find a provider," or by going directly to the zip code searchable directory at https://ebp.dcf.ct.gov/ebps....

The database includes providers CHDI and CT DCF have trained across 186 sites to deliver selected evidence-based trauma-informed treatments for children and families, including CFTSI, TF-CBT, CBITS, BounceBack, ARC, and MATCH.

Over the past 12 years Connecticut has made significant investments to address childhood trauma across a number of systems. Since 2007 more than 50,000 children in CT have been screened for trauma and more than 13,000 have been provided trauma-informed evidence-based mental health services. While much of the focus of this work has been on school-aged children, recent efforts such the Early Child Trauma Collaborative have focused on expanding treatments and supports for children under age 7 and their families.
