Proverbs17-12NLT • 3 years ago

It really is time for 2 moderators. One hard core Republican and one weasel democrat. They can alternate questions and rebuttals. No more of this one sided corrupt democrat and rino moderators!!

Fleetwood Factor • 3 years ago

I guess you mean Hannity, Piro, Ingraham or Carlson plus ANYBODY from ANY of the other networks.
P.S. It will NEVER happen.

Only the Truth • 3 years ago

Mark Levin for moderator!

ironmansouth • 3 years ago

Rush

Big Dog • 3 years ago

Fire the Commission!

Why in heaven should Republican candidates face up against hostile "moderators" EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.?

POTUS - and the next Republican president - should refuse to participate unless there is SOME form of even handedness and participation in the selection process . . .

harry naasz • 3 years ago

how is this commission put together? who nominates/appoints the members??

pm • 3 years ago

Dennis Prager

jpatriot18 • 3 years ago

Of course the commission shielded Biden....against himself!

John Wayne • 3 years ago

The "commission" cancelled the debate to protect themselves from legal repercussions after being exposed for their corruption in appointing an Imbecile Joe Biden employee with an open hatred for the President of the United States.

Proverbs17-12NLT • 3 years ago

Correct FF, not since the debate commission has been compromised with corrupt democrat money.....

Fleetwood Factor • 3 years ago

There is also plenty of RINO and Lincoln Project money involved too.

bendafraud • 3 years ago

Hannity and Ingraham are swampy controlled opposition.

OldSemperFiGuy • 3 years ago

How about the woman who heads up the PBS Newshour. She could be the moderator for theDim side.

bendafraud • 3 years ago

Hannity and gus fvckibg interruptions and disinformation would be a disaster.

Rick • 3 years ago

Having trouble getting that driffle out

Nowaylady • 3 years ago

Candace Owens would have Joe Biden spouting off all kinds of things.

Rick Archer • 3 years ago

Good plan.

jedbutler • 3 years ago

They tried that on Fox. Remember Hannity and Colmes (RIP)? Alan wasn't a lightweight but he didn't last in that format. Even now when they have idiots like Chris Haaaan, Turlov, that odious ratface Richard Somethingstien they just look foolish. The left has no point to make but I do wish these administration reps would avoid shows like MTP.

Dagny • 3 years ago

You forgot Juan. He and Jessica play complete dim-wits with no clue their idols are all involved in the coup. They are so disingenuous. They are just typical lying media carrying water for the DNC.

col. kaborski • 3 years ago

They're not playing. They really are that dumb!

jedbutler • 3 years ago

We dvr The Five and FF through him unless it looks like the others are taking him apart. What a putz.

Equalizer # 2 • 3 years ago

Colmes lasted in that format for 13 years! (1996-2009). He could hold his own.

Joe Dangovetsky • 3 years ago

Turlov needs her nose and throat fixed. Her voice is like a fingernail scratching the blackboard. No doubt armpit hair

OldSemperFiGuy • 3 years ago

Remember Point vs Counterpoint on PBS. The "The mouse on America's kitchen floor" and finito!

TakuanSoho • 3 years ago

One moderator. And their only ability is to keep track of time. The only thing they should be allowed to say is "time". Questions can be displayed on a giant screen behind the candidates to remind viewers what the candidates should be talking about.

OldSemperFiGuy • 3 years ago

The media should show the question in every broadcast.

Tumbleweed7 • 3 years ago

If a moderator's only responsibility is to keep track of time, then the person can be replaced with an electronic stop watch. Guaranteed to be non-partisan, unbiased and accurate. Let the timing circuit control the microphones so neither candidate can exceed his time limit. No argument, no bias and no hurt feelings.

catgirldreamer II • 3 years ago

A moderator on moderator debate.
Now that might be interesting.

opto • 3 years ago

The only discussion would be how many different ways they HATE Trump and US who dare to differ with them and their puppeteers.

Dr. Donald Blake • 3 years ago

Agreed. I mentioned this the other day. Two moderators. Rachel Maddow can question Trump and Tucker Carlson can question Biden. Now that would be fair.

Equalizer # 2 • 3 years ago

No. Not Maddow. I would like to see Keith Olbermann question Trump. Now that would be entertaining.

will honest to goodness laughter be permitted?
LOL on rachel

Defund the Presidential Debate Commission.

Hmichael • 3 years ago

Every four years when we have a presidential election the candidates should each get to pick five or six people to be on the commission then they can work out who’s going to be doing what have one Republican run debate one democrat run debate and one with both wow and I don’t even have a PhD

Equalizer # 2 • 3 years ago

Yes. The "Commission on Presidential Debates" sounds real important and impressive... like Greek Column important... but in reality, its work product is not.

OldSemperFiGuy • 3 years ago

Plenty of common sense though, which seems in short supply inside the beltway.

opto • 3 years ago

Equal and uninterrupted time for each candidate to present their accomplishments and vision for their presidency and equal time for uninterrupted rebuttal. NO canned questions, NO talking over each other.

Karan Prather • 3 years ago

I think it is time to get rid of any and ALL mainstream media/news/journalist as moderators period. Contract out professional moderators like they do in educational institutions for debates and spelling bees.

Linda Berry • 3 years ago

exactly! why do they not do this?

grainbirds • 3 years ago

I agree completely there should be one from each side. Not necessarily weasels - they couldn't read the questions or push the buzzers.

OldSemperFiGuy • 3 years ago

Excellent solution. My very thought. Simple and effective.

GAM • 3 years ago

No moderator---just a time keeper with a big bell to signal the end of a round.

Tom Drake • 3 years ago

Use one of those dual stopwatch clocks like a chess match.

Rob Miller • 3 years ago

I have to disagree. Given the state of most Left wing Dem shills, it is impossible to get a real balance and would eliminate problems of what the left would be willing to accept.

Far better to change the format entirely. No moderator at all. No 'questions.' Just a time keeper. coin toss, winner gets to pick whether they go first or second. One candidate speaks without interruption about anything he wants for ten minutes. IF THEY GO OVER it is subtracted from their next turn. If the opponent interrupts the speaker, the time keeper subtracts that time from the opponent's time.

This is real debate, with back and forth debate and response on the issues. The American people would get to see how each candidate really thinks and how well they present their ideas.

That would be much better than the so-called partisan 'moderators' being used now.

Victor K. • 3 years ago

It has to end!

ClickMyNameReadMyComments • 3 years ago

How about NO moderators? Just let them duke it out for 2 hours!

James • 3 years ago

no moderator period

"...but what can not rationally be argued is that trump won that debate."

Trump lost by who's measure?

Univion ran a poll on the debate and viewers said Trump easily won with over 65% of those responding to Bidens 24%.

https://twitter.com/Telemun...

CSPAN Poll says Trump won

All you libs have is your biased media polls.
