" and for better regulation of homeschooling so that the state can keep a closer eye on possible perpetrators"
Again our Rouge justice system wants to have the power to, without any probable cause, invade the privacy of millions of home schooled children. Home schooled children have been proven to be far more intelligent than public school children. The Constitution protects against unreasonable search without probable cause.
Foster homes have some of the worst abuse documented cases, they should have better regulation of foster homes.

Yeah that jumped out at me too, evil Dems never miss a chance to over-regulate or just take something over, like home schooling, whatever the h3ll that has to do with this case.
Dana Nessel IS pure garbage, and evil just like Herr Whitmer.

Rogue, not rouge.

The charges against the Flores had been reduced and then dismissed once Nessel's office took over the investigation.

Yet another example of political hack, inept AG Nessel doing what she does best. Failing at her job, all in the interest of politics first. Believe what you might about culpability for the Flint Water mess, but she also failed to close the door on any of those court cases and had to walk away with her tail between her legs.

See it works this way guys...it's an ELECTION YEAR, don't you see? All the talk and investigations and promises to get to the bottom of child endangerment don't really mean anything until an ELECTION YEAR!! Oh, but now we really mean it. We have to show results so our snoozing know nothing voters will vote for us...again.

Why on earth would any crime against children have the ability to have a statute of limitations? We need that overturned! If you do anything to a child ever, we can always come get your ass and charge you to the fullest extent of the law!!

Like cut off their private parts! Be angry about it all. It is all child abuse. It is just sanctioned by the Left/Government.

W Prior • 4 months ago

Unfortunately not an isolated incident. Some involved do it for love of the child(ren). Others strictly for the money.

i can't speak for this case but i do know that several years ago a neighbor
became a foster parent. she did it for the money PERIOD. she was into 'on-line'
gambling and needed the income. the children were neglected and eventually removed.
this woman ended up losing her home due to gambling. i have to wonder about a system
that puts children into these kind of situations. our tax dollars at work.

So if all they did was Transgendered them, we would just forgiven everything?

Pictures of pure evil

Dana Nessel and Gretchen Whitmer you mean.
You have no idea about the merits of this case until it’s adjudicated in court.
You have no idea who these families are,
You have no idea their political affiliations, or who they may have ticked off within the ‘system’ that drew the ire and attention of the corrupt leaders.
Please let me know how you feel if you’re ever accused of a serious felony based on old, flimsy, circumstantial evidence, with the power of the State and Media behind it.
We all scream about the injustices being perpetrated against 45 and want due process, why not for these people?!?
Presumed innocent prior to being proved guilty, or not guilty.

How can this happen ?Social services and dept of child welfare are just more government bureaucratic jokes. Over paid, probably union, government employees who care nothing about the job, just the paycheck.

Key word: HOMESCHOOLING. Foster systems do not care for homeschooling parents, especially CHRISTIAN ones. Here in Florida, DCF is ALWAYS suspect of them. How do I know this? From conservative, Christian friends who fostered and later adopted 7 children from the foster system. My friends had to be very low-profile about their faith in their conversations about the kids with DCF... no details of attending church, praying & Bible reading at home. They never beat their kids but they did discipline them. One of the boys fell off his bike and broke his arm. They immediately came after the parents with all kinds of questions and half-allegations of abuse, none of which were proven true (because they weren't!). Their kids turned out pretty damn good. Trust me when I say, this is a way to stop foster or adoptive parents from homeschooling. And if it isn't one yet, it will be used for that in the future. Don't jump to conclusions that these 4 parents are guilty of abuse. Child Services loves to hang conservative Christian parents out to dry.

I don't know anything about this case, but I do know about other cases in other states where Bureaucrats in state jobs together with teens with issues get together and 'strict' parents (usually white, conservative Evangelicals) get in trouble with the State HHS/CPS for using corporal punishment or other things.

Why TF were these people not in jail for the 2014 BS they were doing to kids?!?! How about surprise home visits and demand entry?!?! How about actually keeping track of how many kids these a-holes are getting checks for?!?!?!

Laurie Davis • 4 months ago

I am wondering the same. Judge Michael Clarizio dismissed the case w/out having any type of investigation done.

This is evidence of another broken system in our country. Why ensure the proper care and feeding of children when the left would like to use cases like this to promote more abortions?!
Jesus warned those who harm children...

While I am the first to call for abuse allegations to be investigated quickly & thoroughly, somehow the thought of Whitmer's government doing the investigations does not instill me with confidence. I do not trust the government. I do not trust the FBI, the DOJ or any of the corrupt news organisations that are "reporting" on these stories. Ray Lukowski is 100% correct in his comment below!

Trans surgery on children is not a crime. This is bait and switch! What does homeschooling have to do with any of this?
