I actually have had issues for the first time in the last year from misdiagnoses of a brain tumor and walking around in 110% fear and actually breaking down in tears and basically telling my children and wife I was dying .To only found out the guy that diagnosed me was idiot.The last I woke up and my ankle was as if there was a knife lodged in literately had to drag my foot in order to walk.Hines was too far to drive.I went to the Hoffman Estates clinic and even if you were drunk you could see that I was in so much pain. I was told to sit down and wait.They didn't even ask if it was broken after 20 minutes I went up and demanded help.I then was the bad guy.Then the nurse came out said there was a infection which I knew that from the redness which was growing.She then took a magic marker and did spots around it I said why she said she need to see if it was spreading.I said Im not a doctor and you already said it was a infection so why the dots if we both know and Im in pain I said I need help.She said the doctor was busy 10 minutes later the doctor litterly poked hi head in for a second I waited 10 more minutes Im now raising my voice for attention and help.I was told calm down or we will call the police.I said I have been here over a 1/2 hour Im in pain.She said I could go to the nearest ER i SAID i TOOK A CHANCE DRIVING HERE.Its my right leg by the way.She wrote a note and said the VA would pay and where to send the bill.Bottom line the ER automatically knew what the issue was in less than a second and even stated they could not believe the VA didn't know plus took the chance of me in a car accident .They even said it was good I came in.The shocker they said people have actually died of the same condition.Now VA is refusing to pay they are saying the nurse said I walked out even though I proved with the hand writtin letter on VA paperwork I was sent to collection my credit score tank from 803 to 698 they just flat out refused to pay the bill.I guess I was suppose to die or lose a leg.
