Just like EVERYTHING else in this Country, this is how you LIE with math and statistics. Nothing, and I mean nothing, has decreased in cost. INFLATION has SLOWED meaning that if something is lets say 3.8% now IT'S STILL RISING month on month, year over year. in the past 2-3 years since Covid, some of these industries saw GREATER THAN 300% cost increase from 2020-2023. Meanwhile, hospitals have figured out how to manipulate and make their own rules and DECREASE the compensation from all healthcare workers except doctors. Of course if your a Doc and you make $178,000/yr I don't feel bad for you at all if you have $900K in medical school loans. YOU'RE the esteemed one, YOU'RE the one who has all the power, control, responsibility, say so ect. I have LOST pay from 2021-2023. The healthcare industry constantly shits on Laboratory Professionals..."Oh, yeah what do you do just press a button and print the results right?" How low IQ and condescending can you be? My mortage didn't go down. Biden and his lying friends didn't forgive my student loans; they didn't go down in what I owe? Rent WAY UP, Mortgage rates WAY WAY WAY UP, Gas WAY UP, Groceries WAY WAY UP! Everything is at least 100% INCREASE in cost, while they DECREASED my compensation around the country. I hope theres some rich jerkoff invested in Healthcare and Hospitals and I wish we would all strike together unanimously and hit them in the only place they care about; their pocket books. I know I can't do it single handedly, but if I had my dream I would love to see a whimpering littlr rich prick thats never known what it was like to go to school for 10 years to be told youre going to make $20/hr for being a scientist with a college degree, loose everything and cry under the bridge in hopes someone will come by and give them some change to keep on living. Because thats pretty much where I am at. $20/hr for 10 years of science schooling with 3.89 GPA... When I could push baskets at Wal-Mart for $18.75/hr! I hate you rich assholes sitting up on high dictating down to me, a Professional with 3 college degrees I worked my ass off to earn so that I could be one of the best in my field, but I am living at the same level as someone who dropped out of high school in 10th grade. You people have KILLED the middle class. You CONSTANLY come out with articles saying that healthcare workers are in short supply. But then you focus the ENTIRE article on NURSES as if they are the only other healthcare workers in existence when actually there are 25 Nurses to 1 patient and 1 qualified laboratory professional for every 100,000/ people in a population center. We are SEVERLY and GROSSLY undercompensated and understaffed and yet year over year I see nursing salaries go up and up and up! While my workload has increased 10 fold (10X) YoY with a negligable to nearly non-existent increase in pay. Healthcare work is garbage because UNLESS you are a Doctor, you get shit on. And its a totally acceptable practice for The Doctors of America to be complete and utter pompous assinine pricks to anyone and everyone due to their God/Superiority Complex. When you (society/health care industry) pay ME and others even just 25% of these doctors/pathologists/surgeons e.g. $478,000/yr X 25% = $119,500/yr at a full time job for 2 week checks getting 26 pay periods per year, thats $4,596.15/2 wks.... I don't think thats too much to ask for considering my job is 85% of the decision making that physicians do to begin with.
