This doesn't surprise me. I graduated HS in Dearborn in 1980. Went back a few years ago to check out my old neighborhood in West Dearborn...I couldn't believe how run down the area looked. Drove by my HS (Edsel Ford) when school was letting out for the day and I was shocked to see how many Muslim students were walking out the doors. My old HS is currently about 30 percent Muslim. Minorities ( African Americans) make up an additional 15 to 20 percent. It was not that way in the late 70's.
