Your post is full of simple truths that i found suprisingly hard to remember
I agree totally with you.
Maybe we are on the same bubble…
Although is still a black/white thought, I still think that whenever someone isn't part of the solution, then is part of the problem. If someone don't behave with bigger values (like real tolerance, comprehension, aperture, etc.), it is loosing the enriching part of real consciously living.
Thanks for this reflexion of yours!
Actually, " The People vs. Larry Flynt" is a Milos Forman movie.
On a side note, since you have mentioned the holocaust, there is one interesting individual called Viktor Frankl, he was sent to a concentration camp and survived, I really recommend searching for his books and TV interviews, it's really interesting.
"You create and live in a bubble, and you immediately get outraged when your reality is challenged by any thought-provoking idea. You limit yourself to your personalized and narrow status quo.
It's a lie when you say "I'm open-minded" but continuously call out people and whine about how offended you are. You are not open-minded. You can't have your lunch and eat it too. At least admit the truth: that you're narrow-minded and intolerant."
Fantastic!
be offended is not a right, but a choice. excellent article, by the way.
Wow, this was a beautiful defense of freedom of speech. My sincere congratulations.
Nice.
