Happens every year about this time to reinvigorate sales as they decline when people start considering waiting for Septembers releases

Back in 2011, they used to offer 0% finance in the UK between Sep-Nov, a family member bought their first Mac then (a MBA).

TBH, I wish they'd do the same now, especially as devices get more expensive, so spreading the cost without additional costs would be decent for many.
