Thank you mate! I was considering building GPG from scratch because I couldn't understand the source of the bug. 😩 Makes total sense now when you realize that WSL2 cannot natively render that pop-up screen.

This has mildly irritated me for a while and I've always just committed from terminal instead, but it gets a bit tedious when trying to match commit messages to files changed. This is a nicely concise guide where I picked out just the GPG4Win, gpg-agent.conf (and restart) and VS Code git.enableCommitSigning bits I needed. Thanks for taking the time to post this article!
