Here's an idea, let's complete the Keystone pipeline and open up energy production all over the United States. (Alaska has huge reserves) Then we can totally disengage from the Middle East and let them do what they want to themselves. I also advocate the Hydrogen Vehicle, using the fuel cell technology
used by the space shuttle. It generates electricity using a small light
weight cryogenic conversion membrane unit. Its downside is that it
pollutes the environment with fresh water vapor. Heaven forbid that we
would use such clean technology. Problem is it uses few moving parts
,requires little or no maintenance...utilizes electric motors for the
drive units and has dynamic braking ...same as a large locomotive..We
have had this available for a very long time.

Saying "Convert them
or kill them" merely echoes their own evil "Convert or die"
radical Islamic stance, and makes us no better than them.

We are forgetting the third option... the option they have been demanding of us
for decades... a simple request (demand) that serves everyone's best interest:
LEAVE THEM ALONE. Allow them to simply kill each other, as Sunnis and Shiites
so desperately long to do.

Stop invading their evil Islamic-Caliphate-loving countries and ousting their
dictators and trying in vain to convert their society to a stable
quasi-democracy. It doesn't work.

You CANNOT build anything even remotely resembling "democracy" on a
foundation of Islam or Islamic "culture" (if you can call that hell a
"culture"). The two societal goals of "Democracy" and
"Islam" are contradictory and inherently incompatible.

A Democracy or a Republic only lasts when built upon the necessary prerequisite
foundation of a culture that is freedom-loving... such as our own loosely
somewhat Judea-Christian culture. And if we are not careful... if we drift away
from our own live-and-let-live freedom-loving cultural ideals, and exchange
those precious ideals for an endless "war on perceived terrorism" ...
we will indeed find ourselves fighting dictatorship closer to home within a

Sometimes I think we're all a little clueless. This has nothing to do with defeating ISIS. We have been fighting radical Islam for over a decade and all we have to show for it is big bills and thousands of casualties. This is not going to change a thing. Labor Day is behind us.
