I performed a factory reset and installed NO apps for a day and the Android Service and Android OS apps had battery usage equal to screen on time with about 4 hours of screen on time before the battery expired. People are scrambling to solve in the absence of any formal response from Google. So frustrating 😣.

Just installed Nougat on my 6P yesterday and the battery life sucks. Until Google figures out how to make their OS work CM & Kernals like ElementalX will be very much alive.

Check out the Xposed framework. I have been rooting Microsoft before the G1 ever came out but just found out about Xposed while chatting with an in law at Thanksgiving. Infinite skips on Pandora, pick any song on Spotify, no commercials on Youtube! It is fantastic.

Note: You have to flash to install so backup (as you always should)

Did you guys have a login system before? I have multiple videos under an old account "Zane" that I seem to have lost control of. I have tried logging in using Facebook & Google. None of them linked to my "Zane" account. They linked to a Zaneperry account which is #1 poorly formatted and #2 not "Zane". Any way I can get Zaneperry linked back to "Zane"?

I agree! It also surprises me how many photographers use it. You would think they no better!

I do like the geotagging feature and I believe you can upload images normal without effects. I wouldn't know though because the app is not yet available on Android. At least not yet

Excellent Photo migration process Zane (great name btw ;). Worked much better then http://move2picasa.com/ which failed to move one photo. I think it had load issues, I have more then 5k pics to migrate (currently Transferring Photo #10/44 (Album #17/89).

If you ever need any beta testers for Android or Web apps let me know. Would love to join the inZania team ;)

I just tried it. Pretty cool service except for it asked me 9 times if I liked the different Harry Potter movies. After selecting hate every time it placed Harry Potter on the front page. Fail!

Nice phone. I just bought 2. One for me and one for my wife. I have the following issues with it.

1. Yellow Tint Screens. I have had to return 2 G2's thus far due to a slightly off white screen. See my post here for pics http://bit.ly/dgkukn. I highly recommend you check yours for the same. It is hard to tell without a phone with a perfect screen to compare against.

2. Home screen doesn't rotate. I bought a car mount for my phone and want to mount it horizontally. Since the home screen doesn't rotate this is an issue.

3. Great keyboard but missing some keys. The Accent Grave, Less Then and Greater Then symbols are not on the keyboard and are also not in the alt+space (Symbols) menu.

Other then these three issues I like the phone. I let my wife have the working screen and hope the next phone (due to arrive Friday) is 100%.
