I heart that it smells good and wears for along time and best is that it doesn't itch like other mascaras do. well worth the price.

If you are looking for a primer that is long wearing and has better ingredients than UDPP may i suggest Concrete Minerals Electric Eye Primer it has no parabens and a bit better ingredient list and it's Vegan so cruelty free. yay.

http://www.concreteminerals...

Re: Mark Zuckerberg Tries to Make Every Android Phone a Facebook Phone

sorry don't want facebook invading my phone like that their ignorance of privacy knows no limit.

Re: Why Amazon Should Play Nice With Local Bookstores

I don't think we ever needed a physical book to interest us. Reading a synopsis from the Times Best seller list, for kids, looking at the Scholastic flyer to order a book. How we find books is never the issue. For libraries as well as Mom & Pop bookstores the issue is keeping the interest going without loosing their identity to try and reach a broader audience.

Re: Ready, Set, GOALS! Look at Star Trek, Capitan Picard always had physical books with him. I think the appeal of the ereader is one of ease and convience. What trraveler wants to carry 3 4-500 page best sellers especially when airline are charging for everything and weight is a factor in flying. Being able to carry it all in one device is exceptional.

I still check out physical books, they are more of the non-fiction type which i love for the art and how tos so visual is important there as well as the physicality of the book so i can flip and scan to pages i want to read or chapters that are pertinent to my needs.

For fiction, I'm doing a lot of ebooks. Cover art is seeing a new renniasance as cover art is a big factor in how people choose a book. I find that in both formats physical or not, cover art is important.
My inital need for an ereader ( i have a simple kobo w/ wifi) was the need to have something quite while i nursed my infant, who woke when i turned a page. The ereader provided me with a book and my child nursed quietly and fell asleep. I didn't have to move to pick up another book and search for a bookmark in the covers or cushions.

I have books on my android phone for when i forget my reader and to listen to eaudiobooks on the go. It's safer than having to change out cds in my car while driving, and there are no scratches to worrry about.

However, physical books are necessary it's how we begin to read. from board books for infants, to the smell of a Dr. Seuss book and the art in Strega Nona, Physical books are a necessity to reading.

Re: Wonder Wash and Mini Spinner – Go Green (& Save Money)

How does that work on jeans? do you know any families of 4 or more who use this? it is pretty cool. with the texas heat the clothing would dry really quick.

Re: Silent Killer Workout

30,28
25,26
25,26
24,29
20,26
21,26
22,25
27,30
30,27
24,25

I started lunges with a total of 16lbs in weight but had to go down to 10lbs to keep in form so i kept them for the squats as well. For the weighted crunches used a 5 lbs ball. Instead of knee raises did reverse crunches. so happy with those b/c i was really pushing.

was doing this workout with Rocky III in the background. with Apollo Creed saying "come on!..push it! you can do it!" awesome! eye of the tiger baby... eye of the tiger.

Re: What Does "Gifted" Mean?

Congrats on her memorization of some books..according to my librarian colleagues that is a form of literacy. I was so happy when my 18m (now almost 3) could do that with Good Night Moon.

Even when an infant bites on a board book there are studies that say it is a beginning form of literacy because infant do everything with their hands and mouths. It's quite interesting.
