I've been doing the same with coding - I've been building little apps where each app is based around one or two functions/features that I have to learn. This blog is one of the first I've built on my own, and the next one will use the same basic structure but add an element of tagging. Once I've done that, I know how to do it and I have something to refer to when I need tagging in the future. It's awesome.

Re: http://jackcheng.com/i-am-my-own-boss-and-so-can-you

Thanks everyone. Sometimes it pulls a book that doesn't have a rating. There's probably a little bias toward higher rated books, but like most 5-star rating systems, many people tend to review things they like. The average rating on Amazon is actually closer to 4 stars than 3.

Re: http://jackcheng.com/stuff-i-love-muji-chronotebook

Thanks. For instance, you could try to boil the idea down into its simplest iteration and do that right away. Then if it catches people's attention, you can develop it further.

Re: http://jackcheng.com/presidential-teas

I posterized the portrait and used that as kind of a template. When money and love come from the same activities, you have feelings that you wouldn't have otherwise.
