surya - jothika starrer kaaka kaaka was the best modern police action flicks or should i say the best in the whole country...people who praise khakee and garv as great action movies should watch kaaka kaaka to know the real meaning of a true cop movie....fantastic action and realistic acting by the lead cast....i didnt see the telugu version with venkatesh but im damn sure the performances would have been miles apart in comparison with surya....john abraham donning a cops attire and enacting the scenes of a daring IPS officer couldnt be digested by those who have watched the original barring the usual comparisons which will be made...
instead surya himself should have acted in the hindi version as he has already debuted in Hindi with Rakta charitra....people would have known his versatility as an actor who can perform with ease in roles like Ghajini, pithamagan, perazhagan, kaaka kaaka, etc.
I even feel he was much better when compared to ajay devgan in yuva (ayutha ezhuthu) in terms of acting, body language and expressions, he was totally power ful in the movie as a student leader....
Lets wait and watch the end result of this another remake...so far so good with ghajini and wanted hitting the right areas....we hope to c an other action movie with less masala unlike wanted....
