Berger Föhr put together a pitch a few years ago that was compelling in its own right: http://coloradoidentity.tum...

Re: FreshBooks Estimates: Save Time (& Headaches) by Getting Buy-In Up Front

I wish I could use this feature, but the way it's setup doesn't allow for flexibility in the service industry (but I could see how this setup would be great for a product company). If I could offer a client a few options to choose from or if I could attach a PDF that outlines the estimate, I think that would be much more valuable. Sending a new lead something that looks exactly like an invoice feels cold.

Re: New Logo and Identity for Telemark by Snøhetta

I can't unsee this being the same as the Teleprompt logo.

Re: Who Likes Free Stuff?

Hello Jeff.
You are my hero.
You make great shirts,
And you make people smile.
So continue being awesome
And making great shirts.
Black henley is sexy.
You're my hero.
Bye Jeff.

Re: Table Giveaway

I love Ugmonk and love coffee.

Re: Custom screensavers on a Kindle 4

Man, I tried this, but it doesn't seem to be loading the images.. here's the terminal info:

'[root@[192_168_15_244] root]# mntroot rw
system: I mntroot:def:Making root filesystem writeable
[root@[192_168_15_244] root]# mkdir /mnt/us/screensaver
[root@[192_168_15_244] root]# mount /dev/mmcblk0p1 /mnt/base-mmc
[root@[192_168_15_244] root]# mv /mnt/base-mmc/opt/amazon/screen_saver/600×800 /
mnt/base-mmc/opt/amazon/screen_saver/600×800.old
mv: can't rename '/mnt/base-mmc/opt/amazon/screen_saver/600×800': No such file or directory
[root@[192_168_15_244] root]# ln -sfn /mnt/us/screensaver /mnt/base-mmc/opt/amaz
on/screen_saver/600×800
[root@[192_168_15_244] root]# Connection to 192.168.15.244 closed by remote host.
Connection to 192.168.15.244 closed.

thanks!

Re: NoiseTrade | Thousands of Albums. "Carry Me Home", the latest release by Gatlin Elms, the three-piece band from Houston, Tx, takes you on a journey of struggles, pain, fear, and doubt with a glimpse of hope to round it off.

While having spent two years working rigorously on this record, one would expect only that the end result be something of excellence. I concur, this record embodies excellence in rare form. From the songwriting to the production, mixing, artwork and unusual promotion for the record, all reveal that Gatlin Elms is here for the long haul.

Re: http://blog.zachmcnair.com/post/17320668385

Thanks, Neil!

Re: Phil Coffman

i's so excited. #fridayfridayfriday

Re: Phil Coffman

Hey guys, I'm planning on going to SXSW badge less again this year. Well, maybe not that much, but just about. This post is no exception, man. So great to hear your thoughts on BB. I'd love to know some more tips or some words of wisdom shared from that weekend, but perhaps I'll have to buy you a beer in Austin.

Also, that secret power in Greenville? Blankenship + Newspring, no doubt... Also, the weather and the mountains minutes from downtown.

Re: Ugmonk Journal Giveaway

I would use your journal to bring world peace, reduce taxes, give more jobs to those that need it, give Bono paper to write his thoughts down when he runs out of his own, and of course think of ways to make the world a better place. Secondly, I would like this journal because it's Ugmonk, and that is by far one of the coolest companies in the world. Thirdly, I would like said journal because it will give me an opportunity to sketch out things before I commit them to teh pixels on teh computer skareens.

Lastly, I just want to have a piece of Ugmonk in my office, home, etc.

Re: iheartlogos Book Giveaway

Graham, I'd love this book. I hope to submit a logo or two for Season two. I know that whatever I say here is not likely to increase my chances of winning, but if what I said here had any weight of me winning, I'd probably talk about punting puppies and how fun that might be if they didn't feel any pain and didn't die... Okay, that's a bit dark. I admit.

@zachmcnair — http://zachmcnair.com

Re: Southwest | Telephone Frames

Andrew, I think this is probably my favorite post of yours thus far. You seem to be on this path to get rid of all extra noise in your life in hope to live more simply. This post is exactly that. For these images, your iPhone was absolutely perfect. I really want to be content with less, and seeing how you and Jeremy C. have done such great work with your phones has really been an encouragement to me.

One thing I must say that I love about these is that I love that there is no lens distortion of any kind. I love shooting with wide angle lenses, but I feel like they not only distort the edges of the images, but they make the viewer really feel like he/she is pretty far away from the shot as opposed to right there in it. These photos really make me feel like I'm there with you... Perhaps something to think about?

I love the colors in these, man. ABSOLUTELY beautiful.

I could say a million words, but I'll stop. Great work, brother!

Re: http://blog.ryanbooth.net/post/2854430915

Dude, I couldn't be more proud of you, man. This is great. I'm excited to see what do in the future. Watching you work throughout the years has been like watching a flower grow (work with me here, I know it's potentially lame).. During the growth of the flower, it may every now and then catch small glimpses of sudden movement (a leaf bursting from the stem, for instance), and then there are periods where it can only just sit and wait anxiously for the next time to bust through whatever could potentially hold it back from growth... I feel like I've been experiencing little bursts since I've known you. A stem here, a leaf there, and now you're slowly developing a bud that will bloom at a time when it's most needed.

Re: http://journal.andrewryanshepherd.com/post/2127919321

Dude. For instance, this New York post. It's a collection of images using a camera that most people own (their phone). What's fascinating about them is that the average viewer wouldn't know the difference by looking at them. The way you see things tends to show itself in the end perfectly clear no matter what gear you use.. Even in the way you process your mobile images, they look almost identical to the photos you take with your 5D MKii.

Pardon my poor writing, but I hope it comes across that you are easily one of the most intriguing people I know, and that I am truly blessed to call you friend.

Please keep doing what you're doing. Keep telling stories through whatever medium you're interested in at the time. I will keep listening, reading, and viewing.

Re: Couple of New Brands by Foundry

Ahhh Yeah!
