A lot of innovative features.

I will certainly use it on my PC, but on my Mac I haven't found any AIR application that can work as well as a good Cocoa/Objective C application (like EventBox for instance). I know AIR is great for cross platform development, but I wish it had more low level features or system integration.

Re: On Seesmic Everybody Knows You Are NOT a Dog

The "human internet" is very similar to Cisco's "human network" (http://www.cisco.com/web/ab... so it is probably not a very good idea, don't you think? Too bad you had so little time, you obviously had much more to say.

I like your conversational presentation style and your content, but I am afraid it wasn't enough structured for an American audience.

Anyway I would really love to see you speak in Essec ( a French business school, for those who don't know), even if you come from the competition...

Re: Just Buy Your Twitter Followers: Here is How.... As I am writing this words, this account has 1016 followers, which is not huge, but big enough to be among the top 1% of twitter.

What I am really surprised about, is that when you read the twits on this account, they don't sound commercial. What do you think of it?

Re: 10 reasons why Presentations are going to make it big in 2009: Slide Design Wishlist

This is just a test message for the new commenting system.

Re: Awesome Video Game Presentation : Sony E3 LBP Presentation

You are right, I was a little bit bold when I wrote : "Video presentations are great, but video game presentations are even better." I know there are many better video (or normal) presentations than this video game presentation.

But imagine you could add the same level of control to any video presentations, that would be great! This video game presentation demonstrates the hardware is ready, we need more versatile software to help us create this kind of presentations.

One other thing I like about the LBP presentation is that it was created with its audience in mind. E3 is crowded with gamers, they were thrilled by this presentation!

Re: Different Types of Presentations : Strategic / Tactical Presentations

Hello Jan, I agree with you. And I think it is important to help people to understand the difference. One problem I see very often is a tactical presentation that is just like a (poor) strategic presentation plus the loads of details.

Typical story : "You have been working on a project for 3 months and yet instead of going straight (and in depth) to the point, the speaker goes through all the genesis of the project, the team members, etc. When at last he comes to the crux of the matter, either you are dozing, or the meeting is almost over. So you have to setup an other meeting that will probably go as bad as the first one and so on."

Re: Are stock photos good for presentations? 5 pros, 5 cons and 1 excellent video | Empower Your Point

Thank you Jan!

I have two additional links for you :
- First, the author of the video, he is a very creative guy so he deserves to be credited : http://phillipkerman.com/blog/
- Second, a video on how stock photographies are actually made : http://www.youtube.com/watc...

Re: Tough times. He is an incredible marketing asset for Seesmic.

Writting, twittering, networking, going to conferences or being a "clown" as you say is a lot of work (and I hope a lot of fun too). The Seesmic platform might be great, but without users it will be nothing. Loic is bulding an audience of passionate users and that's priceless.

I am very sorry for the ex-employees, but I do not fear for Seesmic , it is in good hands.
