Having just watched Forks Over Knives, I'll give myself a couple of days breath first though!

Re: AntonyinLondon.com: Forks Over Knives: In the Raw Food Kitchen

Cool we were watching Forks Over Knives at the same time...what an amazing movie! I am still talking about it and trying to share it with everyone I talk too. I think it a lot more approachable than The China Study, which is a little deep in statistics and research for most to relate too. Keep up all the good work! (Amazing glow post juice fast by the way:)

Re: kisses from a coconut: Chemical vs. Barrier Sunscreens...

I would be very interested in more of your findings as well! As a freckle collector myself, I am a user of the chemical sunscreens for my daughter and I simply b/c nothing else has worked. I have spent a ton of money on the natural versions that I use a whole tube of in one visit to the beach. Practically speaking I just can't keep up with that. We do have great luck with sun shirts and hats and the motto that "The more that is covered, the less screen I have to use!" We are on the boat/beach/waterpark to much to not over-dose with the protection! Great blog!

Re: Giveaway: TT Hair Oil (CLOSED)

Rosemary! WTF and who is this idiot? Anyone who takes him seriously must be off their rockers. He tried last year to get victims of domestic abuse and rape apprehended? Wha??? I can't believe he even got elected or taken seriously in any way. Makes Southerners look bad (like we needed help!)

PS.. What does it say about me that your "Warning for bad language" was what got me over hear? :)

Re: Finally, some pics

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Pokey Little Puppy and so do my kiddos. I love how simple it makes it all sound. What if I get hungry???? Then EAT! I love it. I broke (lovingly) 2 household blenders before finally getting my Vita Mix for Christmas. I was doing fine with the householders and my food processor, but once the second one broke I started the persuasive talks about the financial benefits of the Vita Mix in the long run. My hubby and MIL went halfies to get it for me...and my MIL just recently got herself one (not to be out done...haha) It is amazing and I love it...the main thing is the soups with hard veggies and the nut creams....etc.

Great post!

Re: WINNER: Candida Kit

Congrats Valerie!

Heidi, my cabbage roles turned out pretty good. I made the filling a little to salty, but by the time it went in the cabbage leaves it mellowed out a bit. I have been looking for something for my parents who I am trying to get off of the meat and dairy. I have never heard of it made with cottage cheese, must be an Alabama thing. In SC it is chedder cheese, mayo and pimentos. So I made a variation of it with cashews, nootch, red bell pepper, garlic and jarred pimentos (not raw) all done in the food processor to remain chunky. I posted it on my blog today. I will have to try yours, it looks beautiful...and the bread! Ahhh the bread! I have tried onion bread before but it was so overpowering...love the idea of "carmelizing" the onions first! (and the shape of yours is so neat!) Awesome!

Re: Loving Our Bodies... Just went last night and tattooed myself with "Santosha" which means contentment in sanskrit. I put it on my wrist, so that I see it evertime I'm in Downward facing dog, and while I'm getting ready in the morning. I want to be reminded every second of every day that I am already happy, I don't need to be skinnier, richer, live in a bigger house, drive a fancier car, or even attend the "right" yoga classes. I am happy just being me. (not wasting another minute thinking about "shoulds")

Re: Sprouty Green Smoothie

Wow, that looks good, what a pretty color!
