Also a related question. It seems the 2 major antioxidants in pomegranate juice are effective in vitro, but not nearly as effective in use. Is this a case of adding some sort of catalyst to sour activity?

Where does. One obtain Pomegranate leaf extract? It seems an odd Choice for a research material. Then again, I would have actual concerns for the authenticity of such an extract.

Mine is a Practical question. What are it's environmental limits? Say I wanted to paint it as a backdrop for a solar water heat collector. Can it stand the humidity of an enclosed unit? How about environmental extremes of both temperatures and humidity, can it be used outdoors? How abrasion resistance? It could really help all of us in the alternative energy world if someone could answer me.

If he was wearing an FDNY uniform, I would ask if he was picking up a meal (the only allowance for uniform in a bar & not responding to a job). If not, I would tell him to take the shirt off & turn it inside out, and advise him/her to always have an off-duty shirt for just such occasions. If he was on duty, I would call our CISD team, as this guy has Issues that need attention-& advise him to turn the shirt inside out.

As heather's Blogher "substitute husband", I can say that Heather Works Hard & plays Hard! I bought her husband's cocktail ticket & heather couldn't be nicer! Unfortunately, work mandated me for Saturday & Sunday, so I only got a little use out of it, but I met many of the Bloggers & Tweeters I follow, so IO was happy!

1 The crew is Not using a broom- they are scrub brushes dedicated to decon Ambulance equipment.

2 FDNY needs approx. 15,000 doses of H1N1, way more than most cities- they have a plan (POD) & will implement it.

3 Surprise, FDNY * EMS is approx 5 times busier than FDNY and has been since the merger in 1996.

4 FDNY * EMS is the oldest, largest and busiest Municipal Ambulance Service in the United States.
