From your comment it seems that you're not from USJ and thus have no idea what's happening. The council indeed place officers in Taipan during working hours (everyday) and they issue summon at the speed of lightning. Also they have their clamping unit going rounds non stop. So yes they are doing their job

I have a mix feeling here... on one hand there are a lot of artist is breaking free from the general 'norm' of being stereotype as 'Christian Band' and to certain extend, that is fine. Because I think we are Christian but being an artist is our job.

But on the other hand, having category does help esp to searching for songs like worship and praise. Somehow, I lean towards having that idea that having "Christian" section is cool rather than offensive. And artist should wear the badge proud! Sure in a broader sense, it does not make sense to put someone's faith as a category.

I guess the more 'correct category' should be 'religious/spiritual'?

I live in Malaysia, it is a multiracial and multi religion nation and having that category will be hard because it gets all mixed up and we might not even get to the right stuffs.

Gungor, I respect you man. I do and there's a lot of bands out there are breaking free from the stereotype. Like Switchfoot and all that and yourselve as well. I love your music, of course you are creative and does not take the normal road of song writing and reaching more people.

But what about for artist like Hillsong, Chris Tomlin, Matt Redman who writes for congregation singing 99% of the time? If you remove that category of ''Christian/Gospel', where do they fall on the rack?
