Of course she vetoed the bill limiting the number of school testing days. Why would she actually sign into legislation something that makes her admit that her education reforms have failed? Children need LESS testing, not more. If you want to rag against teachers, find a different way than using the kids as pawns in that game.

Not only were transit rules violated but state traffic laws were violated by the bus driver not yielding to the pedestrian in the crosswalk - whether the pedestrian was crossing with the white walk signal or not.

She was the wrong hire from the get-go. There were more qualified candidates than her who applied when she got the job. Paul Krebs is going to have to face the music very soon for the deficit the department is facing and the poor results from the basketball teams.

Cullen leaving is good for the program and here's why I believe it: Craig Neal wasn't making Cullen into a complete player. I really didn't see Cullen have a desire to defend the way a successful point guard should defend (harassing the opponent's point guard). I believe any other coach would either sit Cullen and not play him 30+ minutes a game (more like 10-12 minutes per game as a backup shooting guard). Playing Cullen as the point guard isn't his best position but when you are the coaches son you get to play major minutes somewhere. Unfortunately this stunted Cullen's growth as an offensive player. Lastly, Cullen needs a coach who won't let his lapses in concentration affect his game. Several times Cullen wouldn't get a call he expected from an official on offense then jabber with the official all the way back down and let his man either score easily or grab an offensive rebound and score. These are three examples in my opinion of why Cullen's transfer will benefit him. I hope he can play relaxed some place where the fans aren't going to ride his rear because of his dad's coaching. That being said, Craig Neal has to show major improvement next year or I believe he should be replaced.

Lovelace is a "for profit" hospital and healthcare system. That alone should raise some red flags but this practice of having providers roaming their hospital that aren't part of their system isn't new. I've had a family member deal with this issue until I raised a stink with my family and at the hospital which stopped it. I have personally decided that I would rather have no health coverage (and pay the financial penalty) than to EVER have to use Lovelace.

I'd like Bob Brown to talk about this fact: Steve Alford has made the Sweet Sixteen as a coach three times - SW Missouri St (1) and UCLA (2). All three times Craig Neal was NOT part of his coaching staff. Coincidence? Should UNM have hired Ben Howland instead of Craig Neal?

The women thought they were leaving the country. Duh! That is the typical reaction when you mention New Mexico to people outside of the southwest. Randy Trujillo might want to get out of the state more often and experience the questions such as "do they speak English in NM?" or "what is the currency conversion rate in NM?"
