Bullshit. The OEC violates the constitutional right to travel. Labour Laws in the Philippines do not apply to laws in other countries. There is really nothing the government can do if a Filipino suffer outside the country.

Why we pay travel tax is beyond me. Also, choosing to pay does not guarantee you to leave. Apparently working in another country is a crime for the Philippine government.
