Wish you good luck for your future. I am sure you have preparing well to be a counselor. I have finished my Bachelor degree lectures. What is left, is practicum. I am getting upset when I read a lot information about advancement to be a clinical psychologist. What bugs me often, is that I am suitable to be one? My friend has just gotten her admission in UKM Clinical Psychology Master program. She is our school top scorer (CGPA => 3.8!) but I have done nothing in my career advancement... :'-(

Sure, but it would not easy since psychology is influenced by culture and there is lack of ethical research in Malaysia. In fact, I found that counseling research conducted by counselor in Malaysia is focusing in education field but not the other sector else.

If you consider counseling as part of psychology, I guess there is less difference when it comes to certain ethical issue such as psychologist identity and counselor identity exposure and confidentiality. When I am still studying so I hope I didn't mislead you...

This one of the current ethical issue in psychology, what happens if practitioner exposing much information in cyberspace?

That leaves us either to stop exposing personal information through Internet (FB, Twitter etc.. or referral. I am constantly reminded about how important it is for referral if I am unable to work with the client. Remember, you're not alone =)
