sorry if that comes off mean
but then it should make you 5 times happier than it did before when you were gettin rates when someone does leave a comment or quote

and no one changes whether they care about your quotes or not just because the "format" of wittyprofiles changed
it kind of proves what most of the people who rated your quotes ebfore, really thought about them
or maybe the right people just aren't seeing them

and at least 95% of the quotes i have seen that are in violation of the rules are all posted by people who are posting them because they are purposly trying to go against the rules to get the ratings back, which i can pretty much tell you for sure isn't going to do anything, but make steve keep it the way it is

what is your witty name anyway???

although there are quotes that i do think are really good, but i don't like putting in my faves because i am never going to want to g oback and read them or use them
so i guess i go both ways
i likes being able to rate up and down
i just hated that people always put the stupidest quotes, and i couldn't sort through anything fast and easily

now there are only good quotes on the top quotes :) :)

there are still quotes with really high "ratings/faves" i just saw one with 175, and 45 and stuff so obviously people are still getting credit for them, and because this just started yesturday it shows that people liked them before this all changed

okay i will admit it is a little wird not going through the quotes and being able to rate them, and not being able to minus stupid quotes like the petitions that have already started about puting back ratings and type your name with your nsoe (just the last 2 quotes i saw) but i think ill get used to it

actually if it were me (and im sure alot of other people) people don't want things in their favorites like that, i mean before people would agree just becuz all that happened was the number went up 1, but now they will be in your favorites, and alot of people actually only put quotes in their faves that they actually like and want to use

just try thinking of have 10 favroties as a rating of 30 (take the number of favorites you have and multiply it by 3....or which ever number you want to choose) because from my point of view, having someone add a quotes to their favorites is a better honor than just having them press the plus button, only because i used to rate alot of quotes up when they were good, but i only put quotes in my favorites that i REALLY liked and would want to go back and read later

just an idea

oh and don't add every quote you like to your favorites just the really good oens
if you like someones quotes, leave a comment on their page so they get the message that you like their quote(s)

u don't even deserve to be a member on witty when you act like that
no one on here has anyidea how much time Steve spends on this website, just so we can enjoy it, and alot of people havn't been enjoying it lately because all the stupid quotes have high ratings, although good quotes do to, alot of good quotes weren't getting the credit they deserved
I love the new idea
and beside, noone said it was permanent, im not saying it isn't, but it could be temporary, its been like 2 days and already a bunch of people are saying they hate it
you just proved that witty was becoming a popularity contest to some people by saying your mad that you used to have the lowes rated quote on the site (which im pretty sure -51 isn't btw) and that you don't have 72 anymore
people still like your quotes and enjoy them, and people can tell you they like your quotes by commenting on your profile too, not just adding to favorites, and now you will have a better idea of how good your quote is, because alot of the time people rated the quotes high, just because they had pretty colors, said rate high, or because they weren't bad
now if someone adds your quote to their favorites you know it is even better
just thinking of have someone add it to their favorites as like...idk 1 rate times 3 or something
so 6 people adding it to your favorites (6 times 3 is...18) thats just like having a rating of 18
idk, but u really should be nicer considering how much time and effort Steve spends on wittyprofiles

I love being able to mark my favorite quotes, because its alot easier to beable to go back and find it if i want to use it for something again, but i also want to be able to remove them from my faves list :D

I don't mind the new layout but I agree, I like the categories (like away, lyrics, inspirational etc.) on the top rather than on the side i didn't even notice htem before they blend in to much with the rest of the stuff on the side column like the advertisements and stuff

I agree, you should not be able to advertise within the quotes
however, its not that big a deal if you just want to put it in your profile

just put your website in your profile, but dont make a huge deal about it put a couple sentences about it maybe but not a couple paragraphs that just ruins the point of wittyPROFILES
